SPECIAL CONTAINMENT PROCEDURES: SCP-5997 is to be contained in a bulletproof glass box on a podium. This is to be inside a 3m X 2.5m X 3m concrete cell. A level 2 keycard or above are permitted to go in the cell.
DESCRIPTION: SCP-5997 is an uncooked hot dog sausage. When someone, who will now be known as SCP-5997-1, is within 12 inches of SCP-5997, SCP-5997 will jump in SCP-5997-1’s throat and choke them to death.
SCP-5997 was discovered at an American 4th of July party, after someone called the police crying that their hot dog, “is deep throating everyone.” Follow to addendum-1-5997 for capture.
ADDENDUM-1-5997 MTF unit DELTA-5-SQUAD-ROMEO, arrive, along with PSI-7-SQUAD-ALPHA to see if the house is anomalous. They enter the home, SQUAD-ALPHA and SQUAD-ROMEO split up. ALPHA goes checking for anomalous fields, while ROMEO goes looking for SCP-5997. They find SCP-5997 and puts a tarp over it, then make it into a bag shape and tie a rope around the top. SQUAD-ROMEO exits the house and sees SCP-5997 still does not stop moving.
SQUAD-ROMEO radios to SQUAD-ALPHA that the house is not anomalous,and, to get the hot dog package that SCP-5997 for testing. SQUAD-ROMEO enters the helicopter and head to a testing facility.
