Description: SCP-5XXX-A is the collective designation for 12 blue palm-sized glass sculptures of fish; subjects who hold an SCP-5XXX-A instance will have a great resistance to memetic and antimemetic hazards; they will also be able to perceive SCP-5XXX-O.
SCP-5XXX-O is the collective designation for fishing hooks embedded in the neck of every human subjects. SCP-5XXX-O are intangible and invisible, leaving no marks or causing any pain to affected subjects. SCP-5XXX-O are attached to a string that according to test subjects holding SCP-5XXX-A instances leads from above. No end point for these strings have ever been discovered.
According to subjects holding SCP-5XXX-A instances, they observe a SCP-5XXX-O descend from above during birth, latching onto human subjects before they are born. When an affected subject dies, the SCP-5XXX-O instance is observed to ascend, pulling with it an incorporeal duplicate of the affected subject at their death: it is not known where they are taken too.
