Description of Case Focus: Focus of SCP-5XXX is a phenomenon that affects fictional narratives (denoted SCP-5XXX-Edit), causing the manifestation of a human being (denoted as SCP-5XXX-Inserts for ease) in the narrative. Impact of the changes vary, from insignificant changes to a great shifting of the narrative. There has been no success in attempts in removing them (for example, removing mentions of a SCP-5XXX-Insert in a fanfiction will only cause a reversion back to the SCP-5XXX-Edit version)

Of the few fully named SCP-5XXX-Inserts, all names correspond to living people (including famous figures, like Magic Johnson). Research is ongoing on this feature of this anomaly.
