Special Containment Procedures: There is no certain way to remove SCP-6001-2 from SCP-6001 without severely harming the entity, so for now SCP-6001-2 is kept attached to SCP-6001 in their containment unit in Heavy Containment.
Description: SCP-6001-2 is an inky black substance that can grow on any platform, that is only if its host touches that object. The ink works like a disease, if it manages to get to any living organism, they will die in the span of a few minutes. The only a living specimen can touch 6001-2 is if they are wearing protective gloves made by the foundation, it is still unsafe for any unauthorized personnel to go anywhere near the substance. The foundation does not know whether this can be airborne, but they treat it like a disease.
The O5 Council keep any SCP-6001-2 they can get in jar, locked away in a locker somewhere in Light Containment, this may seem dangerous but the 6001-2 in the locker has been filtered and is most likely dead, personnel are still prohibited from touching it.
Personnel say they have heard SCP-6001-2 speaking to them, they are also the personnel who have been within 2 feet of SCP-6001. We have no proof to believe that these voices are true.
