Item #: SCP-6010
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-6010 is to be contained in a reinforced 30x30x30 meter cell to prevent any containment breaches.. The inside of SCP-6010’s cell is equipped with UV lights covering the entirety of the cell’s ceiling, to keep SCP-6010 weakened. Unfortunately, this procedure is ineffective in her artificial shadows (SCP-6010-1). Surveillance of SCP-6010's activity must remain constant to prevent any further containment breaches. Unauthorized interaction with SCP-6010 is forbidden. After SCP-6010's ██████ escape attempt, a request was sent in by Site Manager ████████████ to collect tissue and audio samples of its sister, SCP-6018 (Charybdis), to keep SCP-6010 in her containment cell. The request is currently still pending.
Description: Resembling similarities to the Greek mythological creature, Scylla, SCP-6010 is female in gender and consists of six heads (SCP-6010-A, B, C, D, E, & F) each with a neck measuring ten meters in length and three meters in width, protruding from a large scaly body seven meters in length and five meters in width. SCP-6010 stands bipedal and has two tails each measuring up to twelve meters in length. Her tails were used to fixate herself to her hunting zone in the Strait of Messina between Sicily and Calabria, Italy where it originated.
Each of SCP-6010’s heads have slightly different appearances. Each of her heads have long strands of seaweed hanging down from the top as if it was her own hair.
Each head of SCP-6010 resembles that of a Basilicus Basilicus. SCP-6010’s glands under each of her eyes secrete a dark cloud of an unknown substance creating artificial shadows, making the area around SCP-6010 similar to nighttime. In caves, SCP-6010 will not use SCP-6010-1. When SCP-6010 is outside of her comfort zone she will use SCP-6010-1 as a hunting tactic to disorient her prey. The effects of SCP-6010-1 outside of its range creates the illusion of a Dust Stormcloud.
SCP-6010 is sapient and has recently revealed that it is able to speak in Greek and English. SCP-6010-A's voice is seductive and will try multiple ways to tempt its prey to move closer within striking distance. Each of its heads have distinctly different personalities of their own. From what SCP-6010 has mentioned to Senior Researcher Adelric Randoma in an interview, its sister, SCP-6010, is special to her and she deserves to be with her for the Μεγάλο κυνήγι.
Whenever SCP-6010 hears her sister, SCP-6018, calling for her, she breaches containment to find her and will kill anyone that gets in her way.
SCP-6010's first known sighting was in ███████, ██████ in the year 193█. A group of farmers noticed a dust storm rolling across the countryside and sent their servant to go investigate. Half an hour had passed, and the farmers noticed the dust storm had changed direction and was heading straight towards the farmland. One of the farmers was able to take one photo of the dust storm before it engulfed their entire land. The Foundation took notice of this unusual dust storm and sent in MST ε-██████ to investigate. Only one survivor was found amongst the devastation and was able to tell the MST what had happened. One decade later, they finally found SCP-6010 feasting on a small village in the cover of night. The mission took ██ days to successfully contain SCP-6010.

Interview-SCP-6010-A-1
Interviewer: Sr. Researcher Adelric Randoma
Interviewee: SCP-6010
Foreword: For protection, Sir Adelric is placed in a separate interview room with a screen revealing SCP-6010, and a microphone connected to SCP-6010's containment chamber. Translator on standby when SCP-6010-C speaks.
Date: 07-11-197█
Adelric: SCP-6010? Or… which one of you am I speaking with?
SCP-6010-A: Mmmmmm… Hello hansdome~
Adelric: Oh. Hello A. How are you this morning?
SCP-6010-E: Well if you must know. We're hungry.
SCP-6010-B: We're always hungry! Give us food, NOW!!!
Adelric: I understand, B and E. We have been doing our best to sustain you…
SCP-6010-C: Θέλουμε ανθρώπινη σάρκα! [We desire human flesh!]
«translator whispers to Sir Adelric»
Adelric: I understand. If I may. Might I ask you lovely ladies some questions?
SCP-6010-A: Mmmmm "lovely" you say? You may proceed, handsome~
Adelric: «uncomfortable, but shakes it off» Ok. So where and when were you ladies born?
SCP-6010-D: [REDACTED] filthy [REDACTED]! That's private!
Adelric: Ok ok I'm sorry if I made you feel uncomfortable. I didn't mean to cause any discomfort…
SCP-6010-F: «slams head against the North wall of her cell causing minimal damage to said wall»
Adelric: Hey hey hey! There's no need for that now!
SCP-6010-F: Mind your own fucking business, human!
SCP-6010-C: Αν πρέπει να ξέρετε, ανθρώπινα. Ήμασταν καταραμένοι πριν από αιώνες. [If you must know, human. We were cursed centuries ago.]
«translator whispers to Sir Adelric»
Adelric: «jots down notes» Cursed?
SCP-6010-E: Correct.
Adelric: If my memory serves me correctly, would the person who cursed you might have been…
SCP-6010-F: Say that name and I'll kill you!
Adelric: …..Noted.
«takes down notes to refrain from mentioning Circe to RPC-XXX»
How are you related to SCP-6018?
SCP-6010: CHARYBDIS!!! Μεγάλο κυνήγι!!!
«All of SCP-6010's heads and tails slam into every inch of her cell trying to find a way out. SCP-6010-F shatters a majority of the UV lights and one of SCP-6010's feet creates a five-meter size hole in the East wall of her cell, and later expands the hole, causing another containment breach»>
[SCP-6010 was successfully re-contained one hour in of her Containment Breach. Sedation of SCP-6010 proved successful via SCP-███. SCP-6010's repaired Containment Chamber was finished three days prior.]
SCP-6010 and SCP-6018, must be kept separate from each other no matter the cost so as not to risk any future casualties or [REDACTED].
Addendum-1:
Sr. Researcher Adelric Randoma Audio Log SCP-6010-23:
After analyzing the recent interview with SCP-6010, I have realized that her speech is nonexistent… physically. What I mean is it is possible… no… probable that SCP-6010 uses telepathic means of communication and manipulation to her prey. Note, after some recollection of the interview with SCP-6010 after her containment breach, I realized I had felt exhausted not only physically, but mentally. I believe she was trying to seduce me into a state of placidity to let my guard down. I suggest that containment protocols be increased tenfold after this realization of her telepathic abilities.
End Log.
Addendum-2:
After the twenty year containment breach, Sr. Researcher Adelric Randoma requested an upgraded sleeping gas to sedate SCP-6010 via SCP-914. Request was eventually granted by O5-█. After putting several sedation gases through SCP-914 on the Fine Setting, Researcher Randoma and his subordinates finally made the perfect Sedation Gas to help recontain SCP-6010 and any other SCPs like her. The Gas was later called Sandman-A1
SCP-6018 Submerging after failed Neutralization Attempt
Item #: SCP-6018
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures: Due to SCP-6018’s size, it is impossible for proper containment at this scale. SCP-6018 is monitored via satellite and implanted trackers to trace her location. SCP-6018’s most well-known hunting grounds are the Mariana Trench, the ████████ Ocean, ███████ Sea, [DATA EXPUNGED], The Bermuda Triangle, and the Strait of Messina.
When SCP-6018 stops at a new location, a 50-mile radius is then declared out of bounds to all ships, commercial fishing boats, and/or cruise liners. One commercial crab fishing boat ignored the signs and entered too close into SCP-6018’s territory.
When SCP-6018 surfaces, Code Vortex must be taken into action.[[footnote/]]Code Vortex: when all nearby Foundation Vessels that are in close proximity of SCP-6018 must pull out to a safe distance until SCP-6018 submerges again.[[/footnote]]
Despite the Authority's best efforts, SCP-6018 cannot be contained nor neutralized.
Description: With limited knowledge of SCP-6018, she is only measured by the width of her aperture. SCP-6018’s aperture width is estimated to be 1609 meters wide with her outer teeth measuring four meters high and her inner teeth measuring two and a half meters high.
[UPDATED DESCRIPTION-20██]:
SCP-6018’s mass has been updated via sonar and thermal devices as of 09-12-20██. SCP-6018’s length continues on for more than 3,000 meters, with a width matching that of her aperture. It is still unclear as to the full scale of her entire body, but as of recently, no authority personnel, D-Class, or any outside source should interact with SCP-6018, to avoid being devoured. Once SCP-6018 emerges from the ocean and opens her aperture fully, SCP-6018 will cause a whirlpool effect that will devour any seafaring vessel within a five-mile radius. Once SCP-6018's aperture closes and begins to submerge, SCP-6018 will eject a massive pillar of water reaching over 276 meters in height.

Incident Report-SCP-6018-A1
██-██-19██ in the ██████ Sea, a commercial crab fishing boat sailed into a restricted area, ignoring the signs to not enter. The area was on high alert and MTF-Trident was deployed from the S.S. Aquarius en route to the trespassing ship. A warning was given out to the vessel that they were trespassing in private waters, but the vessel kept pushing forward with increased speed. MTF-Trident gave out a final warning to the vessel that they will shoot them down if they do not comply with their orders, but before MTF-Trident took action after the vessel ignored them once more, a radio call from the S.S. Aquarius Rang out warning the MTF. MTF-Trident circled back around to head back to the S.S. Aquarius, but the MST-Trident's ship and the crab vessel were too close to SCP-6018’s whirlpool. Both vessels were lost to SCP-6018.
Attention all Seafaring Foundation Personnel! SCP-6018 has begun to surface! I repeat! SCP-6018 has begun to surface! This is a Code Vortex! Repeat! This is a Code Vortex! All Seafaring Foundation vessels move to a safe distance!
Addendum-1:
RECOVERED FOOTAGE FROM MOBILE TASK FORCE TRIDENT:
After losing contact with MTF-Trident to SCP-6018, The S.S. Aquarius then received a visual signal from Sergeant █████’s body camera. The footage was later labeled as 6018-Interior Discovery.
Sgt. █████:
[nightvision body camera flickers back to life, revealing the Sgt’s face moist from ocean water and saliva]
«coughing up some saltwater»
Is this thing still working?
I hope so. I hope someone finds this for documentation purposes. I know we won’t be expecting any rescue team anytime soon due to… well… this big ugly bitch we’re in.
Me and… what’s left of my men… just regrouped after getting separated. We just found the trespassing vessel.
No survivors.
Our next move will be to venture to a safe loca…
«one of the Sgt’s men calls out they found a survivor»
What was that?!
*member repeats*
Bring the [REDACTED] out here! Now!
*member complies*
*footage shows a █████ male covered in cuts and is bleeding badly*
State your name, occupation, and reasoning for ignoring our warnings!
«Man being questioned speaks in ██████. None of the Mobile Task Force can understand what the man is saying»
That would explain why he ignored our warnings…
*turns to another one of his men, the Sgt’s light can barely make him out*
████! Keep an eye on him while we find if there are any more survivors. They might have ventured deeper into SCP-6018.
*MTF member complies*
*minutes go by of MTF-Trident exploring deeper inside of SCP-6018. The Sgt. then speaks again*
The inside of SCP-6018 is vast. The roof of her… I’m guessing her stomach… is so high up that my flashlight can’t even reach it. The water level… I’m hoping this is water… is almost up to our shins. I would guess it’s around six inches in depth. The air here is very thick and is getting harder to breathe the deeper we go in. The floor of her stomach is actually quite sturdy. It’s very easy to walk on…
[DATA LOST FOR TEN MINUTES]
*footage comes back to life revealing the task force running away from something off-camera. Gunfire can be heard.**
SHIT SHIT SHIT!
SHOOT'EM YOU [REDACTED], SHOOT'EM!
machine gunfire can be heard off-camera, then the sound of one of his men screaming, guttural noises follow after
[REDACTED]ING SHIT!
*multiple small sets of glowing green eyes can be seen swimming toward the Sgt in the darkness**
WHAT ARE THESE THINGS! GET AWAY FROM M…!!!
five small shark-like creatures lunge at the camera cutting off the feed permanently
[END FOOTAGE]
SCP-6018-2 Discovery
With the discovery of these new creatures inside of SCP-6018, thanks to the lost footage found by the S.S. Aquarius, it is believed that these shark-like creatures act as SCP-6018’s stomach acid or antibodies.
These newly discovered creatures were later labeled as SCP-6018-2.

On 08-23-195█, Authority Marine Biologists discovered low-frequency sound waves coming from SCP-6018 similar to that of whales but on a larger scale and in a deeper frequency. Twenty-seven minutes later, SCP-6010 breached containment and was heading directly for SCP-6018’s Location. SCP-6018 was re-contained 23 hours later.
██ years later, SCP-6018 gave off the same frequency and SCP-6010 breached containment yet again. This time it took Twenty Years for re-containment of SCP-6010.
**NOTE:* It’s shown that SCP-6010 and SCP-6018 have a strong bond with each other. A request was given to Site Manager ███████ to require a tissue sample from SCP-6018 and present it to SCP-6010 in order to prevent any other containment breaches. The request is still pending at this time.
Addendum-2:
In 199█, volcanologists picked up an ultra-low-frequency on their hydrophone they labeled “The █████”. The Foundation took notice of this and sent in a researcher masqueraded as an NOAA[[footnote]]U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration[[footnote/]] scientist and convinced his colleagues that the sound was nothing more than an Iceberg falling into the ocean. The other NOAA was easily convinced.
