SCP-5000 is to be kept in a dark, unlit room, with the testing chamber being 5m wide, 5m long, and 100m tall. The only way the scientists are allowed to watch is through 12 cameras (3 on each wall). When Class-D personnel are entering, they must walk down a dark staircase to which they are met with a door. When the Class-D are entering the testing chamber, they must close the door fast to not let much light in.
The entity looks like an assortment of red crystals with a violet brain shaped crystal in the middle. The entity hates light according to tests. When the SCP is exposed to light, it lets out a high pitch screeching noise that is recorded to be, 78 decibels. The SCP also telepathic abilities according to other tests. Class-D personnel are to talk with the SCP as if it were a human. SCP-5000 seems to have a New Jersey accent (note that this is the only one of these we have found, so voices might vary). SCP-5000 claims to be a human named Frank and denies the telepathic abilities. Some times Class-D claim to have seen a human like ghost that talks when SCP-5000 does. When 5000 said he was hungry in one test, the Class-D asked what 5000 wanted to eat. 5000 simply wanted honey mustard wings (5000 says its his favorite food). Some scientists speculate that SCP-5000 is a effect of SCP-409 (which is being tested for the recent allegation). In one test, the Class-D was asked by the scientists to touch the brain crystal. When the personnel touched the brain crystal, they took their hand away quickly. During this, 5000 was complaining about a brain freeze. In another test, the Class-D was asked to touch the same crystal, but with protective gloves. The Class-D described the brains as being "mushy and wet". When the SCP is lifting things, it doesn't seem to lift over 1.7m off the ground.
Scientists asked a Class-D to attach a device on to the brain crystal to measure the brain waves. The scientists brought another Class-D in to the testing room to measure their brain waves as well (with guard supervision of course). The scientists were stunned to figure out that the brain crystal was emitting the exact same brain waves as the Class-D. The Class-D also was talking exactly like 5000 and claiming his name was Fred and such.
In conclusion, not much is know about SCP-5000 so the SCP foundation is trying to explain these strange anomalies.
