Special Containment Procedures: SCP-8009 is to kept inside a thick glass container inside a 5 x 5 x 5 containment chamber.

Description: SCP-8009 is a spherical crystal orb with the ability to fade from existence at any given time and will show up in a random location in the galaxy. SCP-8009 was found inside of a fortune tellers tent in 1988. Personnel are instructed not to make physical contact with SCP-8009 considering it could lead to extreme injuries or 3rd degree burns. SCP-8009 information is to be classified any further on only authorized personnel may continue.
