Special Containment Procedures: Nobody is allowed to acsess SCP-8701 at any time, unless it is for testing purposes. In the case it heats up, several D-Class are to enter the containment cell and close the door of SCP-8701, failing to do so increases its "Boiling Zone". It is to be contained in a large cell with 24/7 video surveillance. Destroyed security cameras are to be replaced immediately after SCP-8701 has been recotained
Should SCP-8701 not be closed in time, then one D-Class must enter the containment chamber of SCP-8701 with SCP-████ and put out the fire or else it could result in a XK-Class end of the world scenario.
Description: SCP-8701 is a large, old, steel boiler located in site-██. It is in a stage of rusting and any attempts to stop the rust have failed. A large metal bar door can be found on the front of SCP-8701.
The sides of SCP-8701 have each 3 metal bars each with a 2 cm space between them. The inside of the boiler has the same appearance as the outside but strangely enough, it is not in a state of rusting. On the inside there is written: "May hell destroy everything in its path."
SCP-8701's effect occur once every 2-11 hours, SCP-8701's door will open and it will heat up to the Planck temperature within 20 minutes, once at the planck temperature the heat will expand to the "Boiling Zone". Once it has reached the "Boiling Zone", it will rest for 4 hours untill the "Boiling Zone" expands 1.5 km(0.93 miles). The "Boiling Zone" resets to 500 meters(546 yards) outside of the boiler, after the door is closed.
SCP-8701 is constructed in ████ and came to the Foundations attention when the town containing the object suddenly vanished but the object itself remained intact.
