Item #: SCP-9155
Object Class:Euclid
Special Conatinment procedures: scp 9156-1 is conatained in a 2 meter by 2 meter airtight concrete block. The temperature is kept at 0 degrees Celsius at all times. Failure to complete procedures could end in a massive outbreak of death and hatrid. If a breach should occur, kill any infected on sight and incinerate their deceased corpse.
Description: SCP-9156-1 is a small airisol virus with a lattice like appearance and is capable of going through surfaces that are not airtight. It is not destroyed by normal killers and disenfectent and has to be contained by an airtight box. Once inside a living being, the host will transform into an instance of SCP-9156-2, which appear to me mutated, mutilated humans. They will appear to grow scar tissue in someplaces of their skin, and are capable of growing extra limbs and head if needed. There blood viscosity goes up for increased endurance and muscle strength. They’re metabolism slows so that they do not need substantial nutrients to survive. They will begin to grow at a rapid rate, slowly reaching 3 meters tall at most. They will enter a hyperactive state, and entergetically seek out other beings to infect. 9156 appears to prefer human hosts the best, and instances of 9156-2 will seek out humans specifically. The infected seem to have extremely low IQ, and have shown to be around as smart as the average toddler, though extremely adaptive. Should the instance find another being, it will proceed to attack with substantial force, often mutilating the object before beginning he infection process. The instances appear crippled and bruised, as well as developing odd and anomoulous growths covering there body, and there will occasionally burst and spread spores. The bursting seems to cause pain to instances, but they do not appear extremely alarmed.
