Special Containment Procedures: Scp-9884 is to be placed in a vivarium that is 60cmx40cmx70cm with automatic water sprinklers and 4 wooden planks surrounding the enclosure. Scp-9884's containment cell is to be cleaned and sediment must be refilled once every 2 weeks
Description: Scp-9884 is a medium sized insect resembling a common Asian flower mantis (creobroter sp.) It is approximately 10cm tall and 20cm long in diameter. Scp-9884 is capable of speech and has translated the thoughts of almost all of it's encountered SCPS thoughts it is also capable of translating animals especially insects (except when insect is it's prey) and can speak all languages. It has been a great source when trying to translate other SCPS thoughts. Scp-9884 has helped with many containment breaches by translating the SCPS thoughts and letting personnel know where they are headed.It has even translated Scp-173's thoughts.
