August 1st; 2016 ; Hexis laboratory ; After months of research scientists finally discover a new man-made bacteria, but it soon becomes to uncontrollable. It seems to duplicate and grow stronger the more you stare at it. A day later the scientist checks back in and the bacteria is a single cell once again and rapidly duplicates every minute. What they didn't realize was that anything that looks at it, that is a multi-cellular organism will slowly lose the cells that SCP-A1 gains. The bacteria starts off with a 100 hour life span and loses it, but any organism that looks at it, the time spent looking at it is given to SCP-A1 and taken away from the organism looking at it, this as well doubles every second. So the scientist did not know this until he realized that after spending 15 minutes looking at it, he started to degrade into nothing while the bacteria was growing. After he had lost the majority of the nerves in his body he was nearly finished deteriorating as he lay there lifeless, and the final seconds of his life disappeared, as the glass containing SCP-A1, shattered.
This bacteria had not only gained 34 years of life, he had also gained the cells of a human being, and now had obtained the powers of a human being, memories, strength and knowledge, and had now figured out what he really was. Now that he had the memories of this human being, it would be scrambled with the time, strength, knowledge, memories of any other victims that stared at him. Therefore he would be outrageously uncontrollable and confused, losing the knowledge of right and wrong, and sanity. Now he had believed that he was a human being but in reality he was far worse than the world could possibly know, and it all started in a laboratory that nobody ever knew could change the world.
After a week of this monster roaming the world gaining more and more cellular structure and lifetime he started to gain a deformed look growing off of him, fingers and toes growing off of him, eyes and ears, noses and mouths appearing on his body. This was not noticed until he met with Jason Trefero. He had noticed abnormal behavior and shapes under the clothing that was very strange. This was reported to a doctor but was simply ignored and diagnosed as a common deformation. He was rejected until he believed he must take matters into his own hands. A day later he met up with the 'thing' that had recently started to act abnormal and psychologically wrong as he asked him things like "when were you born" or "how many fingers am i holding". Yet only 3 minutes into the conversation his stomach had already begun to hurt as he went to the restroom. The man yelled in horror as his hand was missing, there was only one thing to blame for this.
Jason decided to call the police with his left hand which was very challenging to do with only 4 fingers left as he realized his thumb had gone missing. He yelled into the phone and the operator told him to calm down repeatedly but the man refused to comply and after 2 minutes another officer came to the line and determined that the man was drunk. Jason even attempted to Facetime the operator and show them the missing hand and finger, but the police refused and hung up. He tried to call again but had been blocked! Out of rage he ran out and confronted the thing with a pocket knife from his grandfather, but the moment he stepped out he was attacked with 6 arms and a hideous face. After 7 minutes Jason Trefero had suffered a gruesome death by a monster that had now learned how to divide itself and change the limbs of its body. Now the memories and nerves, pain and suffering had gone to SCP-A1 as the beast screeched a loud ringing, now that 2 humans have been killed by this beast the time it takes to completely eradicate someone was 4 times faster.
The beast had left the room in the form of hundreds of bugs, bees, flies, maggots, cockroaches, and crawled into a room with 5 people in it. The thing formed into 47 mice and as the terrified people starred at it in shock they all disintegrated in less then 3 minutes. So the time of death was now 11 seconds. This creature was now the size of a truck and deadlier than most things this world has encountered. It left the room and wandered into the crowd killing over 700 people. And the time it took to kill a person was now smaller than time itself, and any sight of this beast live, was instant death. The creature was now blinded, deafened, almost immortal, the memories of all 707 people and pain and emotions and nerves and bodies of this beast were gone. This beast had evolved to feel no pain and is the strongest, most intelligent organism on the planet. Other than the other SCP's. It could now compress its size, form into any object under the size of 707 human bodies, and move faster than sound.
There was now only 1 weakness, itself. If at any moment this beast were to stare at itself through a video feed or mirror it would instantly die, and be reborn, trapped in an endless loop of itself, and that is the exact method the UFDF (Uncontrollable Forces Detaining Facility) of the SCP foundation would use to secure, contain, and protect this horrible monster from the outside world. After the media had leaked this information the SCP foundation jumped right onto this. Sending over 1000 units with tinted masks and armor to subdue this wicked creature, and the moment this creature looked at itself it was immediately shrunk into the size of an atom. It was placed in a capsule once it was secured and lost all atomic particles but 1. The last remaining particle of this organism. It was sent to a new facility for containing uncontrollable and world threatening species of man-made, and alien organisms.
One of the soldiers could not help looking at it when it was imprisoned and somehow instantly died, for the mass, lifespan, and deterioration ability of this organism stayed the same, so it was imprisoned in a titanium cell, surrounded by bullet proof glass, and slightly tinted windows. The beast took the form of a long skinny dark figure with glowing eyes as it was the last organism it could see. SCP-A2, but that is the next story. This story ends with the death of 708 people, killed by SCP-A1, which is now contained in a highly secure prison for containing uncontrollable and world threatening species of man-made, and alien organisms. The location of this prison is unknown to the public, for it is secured, contained, and protected.
