SPECIAL CONTAINMENT PROCEDURES:SCP-ETHANNE should be contained within a 12m x 12m x 10m containment cell covered with titanium plates on all sides of the room. The plates have to be 50mm thick. A tabled with a single chair must be placed in the room. The table and the chair are to be bolted to the floor. An extra large bed has to be in the room (also bolted to the floor). A small window (4in x 10in) is required to be installed on 2 of the sides. 2 armed personnel must be watching SCP-ETHANNE at all times through the windows. A gas dispenser must be included at the ceiling of the room filled with CHCl3 (Chloroform) if in any case it has to be employed. SCP-ETHANNE must be fed only boiled organic white rice. Also every 4 to 7 days, classical cello music should be played to SCP-ETHANNE to preserve the mental well-being (NOTE: You cannot play the same classical piece within its lifetime). Clean clothes in all sized should be kept in the room along with a shower for hygienic purposes (Shower must be as tall as the room itself).
DESCRIPTIONSCP-ETHANNE is a humanoid creature with all the same proportions as a human being. It has grey colored eyes with brown hair ,but the height of the creature seems to change in between medical tests. It doesn't just grow, it also seems to shrink. SCP-ETHANNE stays in between 5ft and 12ft. We do not know the exact age of this creature but medical scans reveal cells that are thousands of years old. It knows how to speak English and Spanish and also knows how to read music. Even though the creature grows and shrinks the weight seems to remain the same at 139 lbs. Scans show male reproductive organs. SCP-ETHANNE converses well with our scientists but refuses to tell us it's origins.
SCP-ETHANNE was originally recovered after reports of a "monster" came from citizens in the city of {REDACTED}. A team was sent to this location and retrieved the creature. It almost let itself get taken.
SCP-ETHANNE will only eat boiled organic white rice or it will attempt to breach containment and take lives until it gets its rice. This has happened during a test to see what it will do without food. It managed to breach through the door and started attacking everyone in its path. Everything the guards did could not stop it. Bullets and explosives did nothing at all to the creature. Until it was given rice it did not stop killing. After it was fed the creature fell asleep. It was moved to a temporary containment cell. It managed to murder 23 armed guards and 12 scientists. The original containment cell was removed and a new cell was made in 2 days. We never did this kind of test ever again. 20 hours after this went down we sent Dr. Poole in to speak to SCP-ETHANNE (see transcript 0091 for feed).
Deep cell medical scans were done and revealed a type of cell which acts as a disease and eats at the victims stomach contents and sometimes expands in size then shrinks back to its original size. Scientists have never been able to get a sample of the virus from SCP-ETHANNE because it refuses and attacks with an anger to kill any personnel attempting to get a blood sample. We have lost 2 scientists attempting to get the blood sample. When the victims were killed the creature calmed down and went to sleep. The bodies were in multiple pieces after a cleaning crew retrieved them. When it woke up after 10 hours of sleep it could not remember the incident. Brain scans show that the virus has activity in the brain. It is seen changing perception of memory and vision.
