Horse radish

Item #: scp-4053-j

Object class: Euclid

Special containment procedures:
scp-4053-j is to be kept in an air tight jar in an empty refrigerator. This refrigerator is to be kept in a cell designed like a normal kitchen that is to guarded when an experiment is being conducted with the scp in question.

Description:
Scp-4053-j appears and tastes exactly like fresh horse radish that seemingly never runs out. Upon full digestion, symptoms will begin to show on the now contaminated victim.
The first stage of the change will cause the victims hair to fall out, regrow and change colour until it matches that of a horses mane.
The second stage causes the victim to grow a coat of hair across their head and neck, but will stop at the base of the neck, leaving the rest of the body unchanged. This continues to alter the victims appearance to that of a horse.
The third stage is observed by facility scientists to be the stage at which more pronounced changes begin as the ears of the victim will grow and elongate to the the same size and shape of a horses ears. This stage also increases the victims hearing ability.
The fourth stage is reported to be the most painful as the victims skull begins to crack and elongate (similar to that of stage three) till the victim has fully developed a muzzle and jaw structure. This stage also pushes the victims eyes to the side. By this stage, the victims head will have fully changed to that of a horses head, but will have left the rest of the body unchanged.
The fifth and final stage changes the victims neural pathways and voicebox, changing them to a point where the victim can only say the word "horse" and nothing else.

The victims (scp-4053-j-1) are then to be taken to a separate cell with similarly affected victims for thurther testing and interviews.

It is important to note that the victims can seemingly understand each other in a full language, despite only being able to say "horse", and seem to be unaware of their change from scp-4053-j and think and act as if they have always had these altered forms.
