Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-XXXX-a is to be contained in a 2 by 2 by 2 meter cryo freezing chamber. SCP-XXXX-a's cell is to be kept at a minimum of -60°C(-76°F), while all surrounding observational rooms are to be at -25°C(-13°F) at all times. The glass of all observation rooms are to be about 13cm thick. SCP-XXXX-a is to be monitored for movement or cracks hourly, along with all chamber surfaces to be checked for damage every 3 days. If movement or cracks are spotted by researchers, than the room is to be dropped to about -10°C(14°F) to melt the subject, and is then to be re-frozen for further containment.
Description:
SCP-XXXX-a is a darkly coloured humanoid gaseous entity, about 1.5m in height, and .5m in width. SCP-XXXX-a has a partly vapor-like consistency, this allows SCP-XXXX-a to be frozen and melted at specific temperatures. SCP-XXXX-a becomes frozen at -60°C(-76°F), while melting to a liquid state at -10°C(14°F); SCP-XXXX-a's liquid form will evaporate at 5°C(41°F), to allow it to become a gas again.
If a human/sentient entity looks directly at SCP-XXXX-a in a gaseous form, SCP-XXXX-a will begin to broadcast a light frequency in an attempt to communicate. SCP-XXXX-a will attempt to ask a question, and if the subject answers said question then they will become influenced by SCP-XXXX-a. These entities will then be designated as an occurrence of SCP-XXXX-b. Most occurrences of SCP-XXXX-b are forced to stand still for SCP-XXXX-a to enter their lungs, spreading control throughout the host's body, SCP-XXXX-b's bones will begin to harden through 10-12 minutes, until it is impossible for SCP-XXXX-b to move. If SCP-XXXX-a does not exit the occurrence of SCP-XXXX-b, then the bones will begin to shatter.
Discovered: SCP-XXXX-a was first contained at Site-197 at August ██, 20██. SCP-XXXX-a seemed to be looking for D-708589, calling for the subject by name, it was confirmed later that D-708589 had past relations to SCP-XXXX and was terminated shortly after Incident XXXX-2.
Incident Report:Subject: SCP-XXXX
Event:SCP-XXXX-a was able to breach containment during a lethality test. Using the body of D-749632 as an occurrence of SCP-XXXX-b, SCP-XXXX managed to kill two members of MTF, and then took another MTF unit as a replacement occurrence of SCP-XXXX-b, before SCP-XXXX-a was separated, incapacitated and put back into containment.
Post Event Log:"Hour:1400-There was a containment breach of object SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX has terminated 3 MTF units, requesting replacement units Hour 1500. SCP-XXXX was re-contained by 1430."[END LOG]
