Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-5000 shall be contained in a 12x12 steel soundproof box. Testing requires permission involving at least 4 level 4 personnel and above.
DescriptionSCP-5000 is a disk. However, Depending on the type of electronics in the vicinity, SCP-5000 will change to fit the electronic device. Recorded objects have been items such as:

• Circular disk
• Gaming chip
• Hard drive
• Music CD

When SCP-5000 is inserted into a computer or even a music player, SCP-5000 will play a message, regardless of whatever channel or if the device is shut down. See experiment log 5000-A. Any living being listening to the message or watching the message will dissipate. Any subject that has gone through this process should be declared dead.

Addendum 5000-1: It appears that any type of the message, even written, is enough to convert people.

Note- DR[REDACTED] who was thought to be diseased, returned to the facility [REDACTED] later. He then uploaded SCP-5000 to every file in the facility. No personnel have been recovered.
