Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a 2 m x 1.5 m x 1.5 m airtight, metal box and should only be taken out for experimental purposes. SCP-XXXX-A should be trimmed bi-weekly by a single Class D personnel and the trimmings should either be kept for future experiments or disposed of accordingly.

SCP-XXXX is kept in Site-19.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a six foot (1.82 metre) high statue of a humanoid woman made from a mix of Basalt and Gabbro. It wears a robe which covers its chest and which goes down to its feet apart from its right leg. The statue is completely solid apart from the head which is hollow. Where its eyes should be, there are instead holes. SCP-XXXX is positioned in a way that shows it staring at its left hand, with its right-hand placed on its exposed right leg. SCP-XXXX appears to have long chair which reaches down to where its abdomen should be.

The statue is estimated to be around 600 hundred years old.

Anyone who comes in a ten (10) metre radius of SCP-XXXX claim to experience feeling sad and on occasion sympathetic for SCP-XXXX. Some claim that SCP-XXXX talks to them, but refuse to repeat what it says. Thirty-two (32) percent of people who come in contact with SCP-XXXX have ended up taking their own life, most commonly via hanging. Even though the woman who SCP-XXXX is modelled after¹ is unidentified, anyone who comes in contact with SCP-XXXX will claim to recognise it.

SCP-XXXX-A is a flowering plant which grows inside and on the outside of SCP-XXXX. Its flowers are similar to the Anemone and Marigold flowers, the colour of them ranges from purple, red, pink, white and black. SCP-XXXX-A also occasionally grows thorns which are extremely sharp and requires kevlar gloves to trim them.

Additional Notes: SCP-XXXX was acquired by the foundation on ██/██/1964, it was found in the back room of a museum, SCP-XXXX-A has grown on it, along with thorns, and a man named ████ ████████ had gotten tangled up in it and had died due to exsanguination after a thorn cut his jugular vein. The man who found SCP-XXXX was administered a class B amnestic, SCP-XXXX-A was trimmed off and incinerated, and then SCP-XXXX was taken to Site-19.

At 18:09 PM, while a D-Class personnel was trimming SCP-XXXX-A, which had grown thorns, his shirt got caught on a thorn and while walking away, he accidentally pulled the statue over, it fell on him which caused severe lacerations on his back. While trying to get free, he got tangled in SCP-XXXX-A, one stand of it got wrapped around the D-Classes throat and slit it, this caused the D-Class to wriggle some more and he slit his jugular which killed him within three minutes. Altogether, he was stuck under SCP-XXXX for thirty-six minutes. There were two other injuries while trying to retrieve the D-Classes body.

At 14:23 PM, Doctor ████████ was found in his office close to death after accidentally slitting his wrist on a sample of SCP-XXXX-A, which had a thorn hidden inside of it. Doctor ████████ died four minutes after being found.

Test A - ██/██/2003

Subject: Two (2) D-Class personnel (D-1912 and D-9809), they are both artisticly skilled.

Procedure: D-1912 and D-9809 were shown SCP-XXXX, both reported recognising it, they were then instructed to draw SCP-XXXX's face.

Results: D-1912 and D-9809 both drew SCP-XXXX with great detail, both of the faces looked the same.

Analysis: It was found that SCP-XXXX's face doesn't change depending on who looks at it, because of this it is unknown why people claim to recognise SCP-XXXX. D-1912's drawing was kept, but D-9809's was disposed of accordingly.

Additional Notes: Two days after the test, D-1912 was found in his cell, dead, he drowned had repeatedly smashed his head against the far wall of his cell, found around him was his own [REDACTED]. There section of the wall where he hit his head was heavily damaged. D-9809 has refused to talk about SCP-XXXX since the test was held. Fourteen days after the test was held, the drawing that D-1912 drew started to grow SCP-XXXX-A on it, a sample of the SCP-XXXX-A was taken, and then the drawing was disposed of.
