SCP-4927

Item#: SCP-4927

Object Class: Keter

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4927 is to be monitored at all times during the activation phase, guards are to be placed outside the containment cell. Walls of the cell are made of an unknown substance which is replaced every two weeks, substance is virtually indestructable however the activation phase makes it brittle, SCP-4927 emits the substance which is named SCP-4927-1,

If the activation phase is interrupted contingency plans must take action in this order specifically

  • close the containment facility without evacuation
  • nuke the facility to ensure SCP-4927 is dead
  • sink the facility underground

Description: SCP-4927-1 is a dangerous substance that if were to land on any living organism
would create an instance of SCP-4927-2 which is hostile after infection, SCP-4927-2 also emits and is covered in SCP-4927-1. After it kills its prey with blunt force or biting, it lays some [REDACTED] on the body which slowly eats at it and becomes another instance of SCP-4927-2 after a while SCP-4927-2 will start to decay and die. During activation phase the entity will emit the substance and go into a rampage where it breaks through walls, floors, etc however the substance is strong enough to stop it which is why we collect SCP-4927-1 to coat the walls in the substance. If the activation is stopped it also interrupts the flow of the the substance. the facility is kept in [REDACTED] which is about [REDACTED] miles away from civilization, if the entity escaped it would mean the end of the world. however the activation phase occurs every week, the week after that goes into a hibernation to to make what we assume to be more SCP-4927-1.the entity does not need to be fed, again we assume it it eats the substance, if it broke out in a in between week. The foundation would find it.

animals are affected differently by SCP-4927-1, they take longer to turn into the instance than a regular human
