Charles waited outside a cold office, the walls were pasty grey and furniture was horribly bland, according to Charles' point of view. He has been waiting for what felt like hours at this point and he had begun to get impatient. He began tapping his shoes together to form the beat to a song he didn't even know himself. He started taking a closer look at the tables and chairs besides him. There were three magazines on the dark brown coffee table in front of him. The one on the top of the stack read "SCP Daily: The need to know of Site-34" and looked horribly bland with a picture of … something on it. There was a weird man in a black suit with the face covered in unraveling black cloth to reveal a smoke pouring out.
"Weird." Charles said curiously to himself.
The next magazine read "All you need to know about Keter Duty" with a picture of a pyramid and a hook at the top.
"Curious art for the cover." Charles thought out loud.
The final magazine read "SCP Gossip: What's gotten into Doctor Richtenburg?" The cover depicted the figure of Doctor Richtenburg, standing with shoulders crossed and a frown on her face.
"Huh, that's strange. I'm meeting her today."
He set down the magazine and continued his eternal wait for his meeting.
The door in front of him swung open in an instant and a tall figure appeared.
"Good day Mister Hollender. Shall we begin?" Doctor Richtenburg
