SCP Tale - Where is it?

The radio on the dimly lit desk next to Doctor Hollender suddenly activates, startling him slightly.

"Attention: The site is experiencing a level 4 containment breach from SCP-6701. All research personnel evacuate immediately to the nearest decontamination chamber and enter an emergency bunker. All Mobile Task Force Sigma-7 ("Curtain Call") operatives respond immediately to SCP-6701's containment chamber and await further instructions."

The lights in the poorly lit office suddenly shift to a dim red, blanketing the entire room in a blood red hue. Researcher Holtz jogs past the office that Doctor Hollender is in at a hurried pace. She notices Hollender in the room and stops to catch her breath.

"(In between breaths) Charles, why are you still here? Get to the bunker."

"Alright let's get over there."

Holtz and Hollender rush through the hallways, following the green arrow on the ground, marking the direction to the evacuation shelter. Red lights flashing in the halls illuminate their faces as they run. They stumble around a corner to find that they are confronted with Bravo-1, the team preparing to re-contain SCP-6701 at the chamber.

"Captain Brooks!" Holtz calls out to the Captain. He was a recognized leader amongst the rest of the unit for his resilience when defending against four breaches from SCP-6701.

The red lights dimly lit his face, not enough to clearly show facial features but Hollender could tell he has a stubbled chin and a short, neatly kept, haircut.

"You two should get to the bunker now. My team and I are preparing for the breach now. Take this before you go."

Captain Brooks hands Doctor Hollender a standard issue pistol, which has two magazines inside.

"What are bullets going to do to this thing." Hollender says in his mind.

"Thanks Captain. Holtz, we should get going. I don't know when this thing is going to break out."

"Corporal Gravers, go with the two doctors to make sure they get to the bunker safely."

An operative emerges from the mob of soldiers and comes forward to greet the two doctors.

"Copy sir." He says confidently.

The massive steel doors bend as a sudden impact crashes into the doors. The red light envelops the entire hallway, dimly lighting the door in front of them. A larger dent forms in the doors as another impact hits the doors. The emergency speaker next to the door is still calmly relaying instructions on a loop.

"Doctors, we need to go. Now"

"I agree" Hollender stutters.

The three figures fade away from the hallway and turn the corner and hear the containment chamber doors bust open with a deafening crack and the screech of metal on concrete fills their ears. The three begin sprinting away from the area, and approach the bunker. Hollender pulled the level 3 access keycard out of his coat pocket and frantically swiped the card through the keycard slot. The terminal angrily beeped and stated: "Please swipe keycard slowly and calmly."

"God damn this stupid machine. I am swiping slowly."

The terminal stated again: "Please swipe keycard faster"

"Give that to me" Holtz states.

Holtz nabs the keycard out of Hollender's fumbling hands and swipes the keycard in the slot on her first try. The three enter the decontamination chamber and waited a few moments after being sprayed with several disinfectants. The three quickly forced their way through the checkpoint and Holtz quickly swiped the card and the gigantic metallic doors leading to the emergency shelter. As the doors open, the florescent lights shine on their faces.

"Finally. A change from that horrible red." Hollender said with relief.

There are twenty or so other researchers and staff huddled together in the large dim room. Corporal Gravers rushes over to the three guards at the elevator, while Hollender and Holtz went to talk with Site Director Benjamin.

Corporal Gravers approaches the three guards and notices that one of the guards had the display plate of the elevator touchpad removed and was performing maintenance on the elevator.

"What's the situation here?"

"Corporal, good to see you. The elevator is stuck on the top level so I've got Dutch repairing the console."

Private Dutch ducks his head out of the mess of wires and flashes a quick smile and a small wave before resuming his work. Dutch had bright green eyes, with pale skin and light brown freckles with short blonde neatly kept hair.

"Good to hear. When will the elevator be operational again?"

Dutch talked while he worked in the cramped space.

"Hard to say. The wiring in here is still a mess. It looks like something ripped the inside to shreds, I've managed to repair most of it though. I'd guess around a couple more minutes?"

"Alright better than nothing."

"Director Benjamin." Hollender quietly said as to not disturb the surrounding staff. As he strolls over to the broad man, he noticed that he almost never saw the director around the facility.

"It's good to see you made it Doctor."

"Thank you sir. What is the situation?"

"The elevator is busted I'm afraid. We're not getting out of here just yet."

"Damn."

Hollender moved over to the three figures huddled around the elevator and almost bumped into a researcher curled in a ball on the floor.

"Gravers, what's the situation? How long will this take?"

"A couple more minutes and we're out of here."

"Good. I don't want to be around when SCP-6701 mozies over here."

Muffled gunshots are heard down the corridor and a loud scream is heard. Everyone in the room ceases what they were doing before and the room goes completely silent. More gunfire is heard and abruptly stops. The corridor is silent.

"Guards, ready you weapons." Director Benjamin says with light panic in his voice.

The three guards aim their weapons at the door, preparing for the worst. A deafening thud is heard on the massive doors. The lights in the room abruptly shut off and emergency lights activate, bathing the room in red light. Another bash against the door, and a noticeable dent in the doors are present.

"Dutch anytime now." Gravers states.

"I'm working as fast as I can here." He says, annoyed.

The corner of the door is ripped away and several long tentacles are shoved into the room, seizing a researcher and pulling him against the hole in the door. The researcher screams for help as SCP-6701 forces the staff member through the hole in the doors and the screaming is cut short. Larger portions of SCP-6701's body are shoved through the hole and the guards open fire on it.

"Got it!" Dutch yells.

The elevator doors open suddenly open and SCP-6701 breaches through the doors, frantically grabbing at any humans it can. Director Benjamin is suddenly grabbed and a long red tentacle impales him. The third guard presses the elevator button to save the other staff and is eaten by SCP-6701. As the elevator doors close, SCP-6701 shoves a tentacle into the elevator, but it is cut off when the elevator begins moving and dark green blood is splattered across the elevator doors.

"Jesus Christ."

The dim elevator lights were a bright unnatural white, and shone on the worried faces of everyone inside.

"Where do we go now?"

"I'm getting the hell away from here." Doctor Burke says.

"Yeah just let the MTFs handle it."

The elevator begins shaking and stops moving.

"What the hell? Dutch you said you fixed it!" Private McKenny angrily states.

"I did! This isn't my fault." He snaps back.

The elevator begins falling back towards the bunker and they fall to the floor as the elevator hits the ground. The doors open with a "ding" and reveal SCP-6701 holding the elevator cables in it's grasp. Hollender, Holtz, and Gravers manage to duck under the monster as it grabs at staff inside the cramped space. Dutch slid under and was grabbed by a tentacle and raised to the mouth of the monster. He furiously shot the tentacle holding him and was dropped to the floor and he slid away.

The group ran through the broken doors and rush into the decontamination chamber. The doors shut behind them and the painfully long process of the decontamination sequence begins. A researcher rushes over to the glass doors of the decontamination chamber and begs to be let in as fellow staff are being eaten in the background. Hollender mouths the words "We can't let you in, the doors don't open." and SCP-6701 rushes over and tears the researcher apart and consumes him in front of the group. The loud shrieks are cut short and SCP-6701 slams it's entire body against the glass doors, attempting to break in.

The doors on the opposite side open and the group rushes away from the chambers. Dutch raises the radio to his mouth and says,

"This is Private Dutch, calling all units, SCP-6701 has breached Bunker-D-5F. Requesting assistance, over."

A few moments of static later and a voice appears on the radio.

"This is Commander McMillan of Bravo-2, we are approaching the entrance to the site now. Bravo-3 is already inside the site, make your way to
