SCP-XXX

Object No.:SCP-XXX

Safety Rating:Keter

Safety precautions:SCP-XXX must be kept in a 5x5 m steel cell at all times.
Each request for relocation and testing must first be approved by the O5 and performed by Tier 4 personnel.
No light is allowed to enter the SCP-XXX cell, in any light it becomes extremely aggressive and hostile.
In the event of a containment breach, the security level 4 agents will be equipped with 90,000 lumens of headlamps and sent in formation B0164 (arrow) to retrieve it.

Description: SCP-XXX is a thick black mass that can change its appearance as desired.
It seems to have a sensitivity and aversion to light.
When some form of brightness or light within 30 yards of SCP-XXX comes, it becomes extremely hostile and will try to destroy the light source and kill all life forms within 8 yards.
After about 2 minutes, the aggressive effect stops.
SCP-XXX is also still nocturnal and is in a kind of rigidity during the day, in this state it can not move and perceive no external stimuli.
It is believed that sensitivity to light is a side effect of night activity.
In addition, SCP-XXX also seems to have language skills and to be sentient under certain conditions, outside the hostile state.
SCP-XXX was captured 19██ in a village called █████, in Ireland at 12:30 pm SZ.
It was captured in some kind of catacombs, after which there were several reports of dead with an unnatural death. In its rigidity, it was brought into the Foundation with steel nets.
Several tests have shown that SCP-XXX is highly corrosive in its normal state and direct contact with the skin and other biological tissues should be avoided.
If light is directed at SCP-XXX at about 90,000 lumens or higher, it will lapse into rigidity, it will still be tested why.
