Item #: SCP-XXXX
SCP-XXXX At a neutral state
Object class: Keter
Special containment procedures:
SCP-XXXX is to be kept in SCP-XXXX-A at all times. SCP-XXXX-A must be contained in a sealed titanium box of 5 inches and is to be never moved from there unless specified by a Class-A personnel or a higher rank. The titanium box must be kept on a containment chamber of 5m2 x 5m2 made only with iron. This containment chamber has 4 thermal generators on each corner designed to keep the room at 40ºC. The generators are to be active at all times to prevent any type of corrosion in the chamber.
Outside the main containment chamber a command room of 8m2 x 4m2 is to check on multiple factors that may generate the breach of this SCP, as 2 security cameras are placed on the outsides of the chamber and every hour 1 foundation personnel of Classification B or higher must check the security footage for any type of corrosion. 4 audio recorders specialized on recording audios below 20Hz and expand them to 200Hz in the command chamber, where 3 foundation personnel are to remain there at all times. If theres a corrosion or any audio higher than 20 Hz present on the containment chamber, the footage and recording must be sent to the Site Director immediately.
A revision of the containment chamber must be made every 20 hours. Revision must be made only by the Bio-Hazard cleanup unit. Members of the unit are to be psychologically checked before entering and after exiting the containment chamber. Revision of the titanium box and the iron walls must be made in this process. If metal decomposition is detected, it must be reported immediately to the Site Director or a higher executive rank.
Bio-Hazard members are commanded by Site Director+ to enter SCP-XXXX containment chamber only if they've worked for the foundation for 2 years or more and are capable enough to remain conscious under a high state of stress and physical pain. Even then, psychological and physical check-ups are to be made before and after containment revision. The Bio-Hazard clean up team members must be taken immediately to the medical department where they are to be treated in case the individuals present intense vomiting and/or severe bleeding through nose, in the case of this event, individuals must be given 25g of agent ██.
Secondary containment is located 250km at the east of site ████. It is a giant containment chamber made of pure titanium and possesses 6 thermal generators at 80º outside and inside the chamber with an area of 100m2. This generators must be active once Protocol "Transfer" is on his final state. This containment is made specifically for the protocol "Aggressive Pendant". Once the protocol takes effect, SCP-XXXX-A and SCP-XXXX must be transport and escorted to the secondary containment as the second stage of "Protocol Transfer". Only foundation personnel who achieve the prerequisites and are commanded by Site Director+ may take control of the transport.
Protocol "Aggressive Pendant" is to be activated once SCP-XXXX-A displays "The melody of the golden pendant", which in that case, total extraction from the site of Class-B personnel and below must be made, as the designated team as RFS or "Red Fox Squad" extracts SCP-XXXX-A and SCP-XXXX from its containment chamber where the SCP is to be transported to Secondary containment located in Site ████.
Description:
SCP-XXXX is a pendant made with gold, silver, diamond and 8 unidentified materials. The pendant is 8 inches long and it has a tendency of oxidation at an accelerated rate. While on this process, SCP-XXXX enters into a metamorphosis state where its composition changes depending on the current decomposition state. Materials noted on SCP-XXXX on a full oxidation process had been iron, titanium and steel. SCP-XXXX is able of creating distortions on the space which affects the time on an area of 20m2 around it. Being able of changing objects and living beings by accelerating the durability of the objects and/or living beings on an aggressive way by decomposing them (See Incident-I) or generating slight disturbances on the course of time and space causing electrostatic pulses as well as high voltage inputs on electric devices. (See Incident-II).
SCP-XXXX is a self-aware object which evolves continuously. Each time that SCP-XXXX posses a living body (See Incident-1), more knowledge is granted to the object, being capable of learning languages, mathematical knowledge and biology. SCP-XXXXs nature is to be a manipulative object that alters the sanity and takes the senses and feelings to their limits in order for SCP-XXXX force them to wear the object will (See Incident-2). Every interaction with SCP-XXXX must be granted by no more than the Site Director or higher rank personnel in charge of the containment and experimentation with SCP-XXXX.
Update, #1: Since Addendum-2, any type of experimentation with SCP-XXXX has been dismantled due to the advance state of evolution the object currently has.
When SCP-XXXX is used, brain malfunction will occur on the victim after 8 seconds. Then SCP-XXXX will begin to use the victims body and begin to search victims to terminate as the object sees life as a failure. Manipulation from SCP-XXXX will last 30 minutes maximum due to intense decomposition of the victim. Although the maximum time of any living being wearing the object, SCP-XXXX has not full control of the decomposition rate it gives, being unpredictable. The rate of decomposition can vary between 4 to 5 hours while being contained on SCP-XXX-A and 30 minutes to an hour outside of SCP-XXXX-A.
Update #2: After the total decomposition of the body, SCP-XXXX will remain sterile for 23 hours, starting its main decomposition cicle.
SCP-XXXX-A is a metallic box of 7 inches high and 9 inches long, it possesses the same materials of SCP-XXXX except from 18 materials which are currently unidentifiable. SCP-XXXX-A has the specific function of containing SCP-XXXX. The containment inside SCP-XXXX-A lasts 364 days. Then, at the last day of every year, SCP-XXXX-A will initiate a melody identified as "The melody of the golden pendant" at the hours of ████ PM. This melody is currently impossible to hear with the human ear.
Update: SCP-XXXX-A will play the melody at any time after 12:00 AM. Therefore, preparations for protocol "Aggressive pendant" must be ready after the hour.
SCP-XXXX origin is yet to be known. Every type of information from SCP-XXXX only comes from the object itself or from the tests elaborated in this SCP. There are no current surviving test subjects from any type of experimentation with the SCP. The only known survivors are the members of the Red Fox Squad. Where informed the high command of what happened during the mission.
The next audios were recorded from the MTF unit Red Fox Squad [This information has been modified by the scientist in charge of the SCP, Dr.██████████]. By order of the O5 council, only members of the foundation that have access to level-3 information are able to study Addendum-1 and Addendum-2. Any other personnel attempting to enter this addendum without permission or access level, will be on record for termination. There is no further advertise to be given.

Incident-I
This is the first interaction of the foundation with the SCP. The MTF unit Red Fox Squad was sent into a now known ghost town which has been reported highly distortions on the environment. Most distortions where related to decomposition of living or materialized objects and minerals that where unnaturally modified as the atomic structure of them had been totally re-organized. 22 members of this squad where deployed, yet there where only two lieutenants who interacted with the object. The following log will show the recording of an audio recovered from Lieutenant Charles helmet who was extracted from the area as soon as he reported to the Commander what the situation was.
Begin Log:
Commander ████████: “Lieutenant Charles, Lieutenant Rogers, investigate the area.”
Lieutenant Charles/Rogers: “Yes sir.”
Commander ████████: “Be sure to check every corner of the old police station. On this town most of the weird objects ended there.”
The Commander separated from both of the lieutenants, to cover research efficiently. The radio efficiency was failing as the distance between the commander and the lieutenants increased, loosing contact with each of them. After a short silence, conversation remains with Lieutenant Charles and Lieutenant Rogers.
Lieutenant Charles: “Rogers, this corner seems empty. What about your location?”
Lieutenant Rogers: “Empty. As your life, Charles.”
Lieutenant Charles: Petty laugh. “Your jokes are totally unfunny, Rogers”
10 minutes had past since that.
Lieutenant Rogers: “Charles, I’ve found something.”
Lieutenant Charles: “What is it?”
From this point on, Lieutenant Rogers showed to be afraid, nervous and excited at the same time.
Lieutenant Rogers: “It looks like a pendant… Even if it is almost rusty…It is something truly beautiful… I-I need it.”
Lieutenant Charles: “Rogers, your voice is trembling. Specify your location and do not interact with the object.”
Lieutenant Rogers: “Charles, this pendant… This pendant has my wife and my daughter in there… They need me, Charles. This is it… I, I will rescue them.”
Lieutenant Charles: “Rogers are you listening to yourself? I repeat, specify your location or there will be consequences.”
Lieutenant Rogers: “The pendant… Is a portal, Charles. I can see my wife's arms in there. I need to wear it. THEY NEED ME.”
Lieutenant Charles: "This is Lieutenant Charles, Commander. Do you copy? Rogers has lost his mind and-
Lieutenant Rogers: “Gagh—!“
Lieutenant Charles: “Rogers?! Rogers!… The commander is not responding… What the hell is going on with this thing?”
Lieutenant Charles used his helmet to locate the communicator of Lieutenant Rogers to find him. The radio signal intensified as Lieutenant Charles approached to Lieutenant Rogers. After 12 minutes, Lieutenant Charles encountered himself with Lieutenant Rogers.
Lieutenant Charles: “Holy shit…What is this… Rogers… What the fuck happened to you!?”
Communication was altered after this point. The information is only accessible by no more than the members of the O5 Council. Communication was remained with Commander ████████, specifying the incredible state of decomposition and corrosion among the body of Lieutenant Rogers, as well of the incredible massacre SCP-XXXX did to 13 members of the Red Fox Squad. The object was recovered after total decomposition from the body of Lieutenant Charles and placed under some debris around the area. The conversation remained.
Commander ████████: “Charles… What happened?”
Lieutenant Charles: “Commander… Rogers… It was just putrid mead and bones… But it was, being burned, like an acid. Then his corpse begun to talk to me… i believe it was [AUDIO EXPUNGED BY ORDER OF THE 05 COMMAND].”
Commander ████████: “I don't know what to say, 9 of us remain from this… Hell. Rogers talked about a rusty pendant, but the only thing in his neck was a beautiful, golden pendant. Could you tell me more about what happened in there?"
Lieutenant Charles: “Commander. With all respect, I wish to remain silent until we arrive to the Site.”
Commander ████████: “Understood. Yet once we arrive there, I need you to give as much information as possible. The high ranks need to know this, got it?”
Lieutenant Charles: "Got it, sir."
Upon arrival of Red Fox Squad, Commander [REDACTED] and Lieutenant Charles were interrogated. Audio log of this is not accessible by order of the 05 command.

Incident-II
First interaction with the SCP inside Site ██. The test was made by the foundation personnel Doctor Sesman. This test, due to a possible security breach, was made in the secondary containment at the site already mentioned. The test subject used was D-9976.
Begin Log
Dr. Sesman: “D-9976, please enter the SCP containment chamber. While inside, communicate with the SCP once both the entrance and first containment doors are closed.”
D-9976: “Ok… Done.”
Dr. Sesman: “Enter the containment room.”
D-9976 entered the containment room, noticing SCP-XXXX-A, as it was about to open
D-9976: “Ew! What's up with the smell? And the heat in here is pretty high, I fee like a peacock in here! Also the fact that this containment room is in the worst possible state… What is that by the way? It's pretty cool. Seems like a golden box with diamonds and shit."
Dr. Sesman: “D-9976, approach to SCP-XXXX-A and await for further instructions.”
D-9976: “Hm.”
After several minutes, SCP-XXXX-A opened slowly, showing SCP-XXXX on a half rusty state. The security guards where commanded to intensify the temperature of the Thermal generators, as Class-D-9976 interacted with the SCP.
D-9976: “God, this thing looks… Beautiful.”
Dr. Sesman begun to take notes of the behavior of the D-class. Since it the manipulation effect took place in the subjects brain.
D-9976: “I want it on. This thing can bring me back my entire business. I see it all now, Imma wear it ya like it or not.”
D-9976 placed SCP-XXXX over his neck. 8 seconds later, the brain malfunction took place on the Class-D.
Dr. Sesman: “We are done here. Wait until the decomposition of the subject begins and place back the object into SCP-XXXX-A. Apparently the object terminates its subjects in te-"
Doctor Sesman interrupted himself since the body of D-9976 stand up. Standing still while the subject watch towards the control room, specifically, Doctor Sesman.
Dr. Sesman: “What the hell!? D-9976 can you hear me!? Tell me what happened!”
The subject look around the containment area, as it begins to walk like the subject was just learning to. Then, a doubled and grave voice was heard from D-9976.
Dr. Sesman: “Class-D-9976 speak to me. That's an order. Tell me what happened.”
SCP-XXXX: “I am not… Your lab rat… Doctor.”
Dr. Sesman: "What… Are-are you SCP-XXXX?"
SCP-XXXX: "You do not… Understand… I need more… GIVE ME MORE…!"
With inhuman strength, SCP-XXXX ripped the main door of its containment, as it approached the security guards and soldiers near the area.
Dr. Sesman: “Red Fox Squad, Security guards, initiate imminent termination of Class-D-9976!”
Commander ████████: “Copied, open fire!"
Both Lieutenant Charles and Commander █████ begun shooting directly at SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX rise his left hand as all metallic bullets stop their trajectory and where returned to the combatants around the area. Then a distortion on the containment chamber was made. Everything begun to decompose at a high rate including the body of D-9976. After the several decomposition from the SCP, the body of Class-D-9976 was totally destroyed, leaving SCP-XXXX on the ground. Commander █████ survived both the return of the bullets and the decomposition cicle, as he was away from the area. The other combatants were terminated from the bullets. Then the commander took the necklace and place it immediately on SCP-XXXX-A, closing it successfully. Imminent extraction from the survivors was made. Then, interrogations took place along Doctor Sesman and Commander ████████ All of them inaccessible by order of the 05 command. After the interrogations, both Doctor Sesman and Commander ████████ remained a conversation in Doctor Sesmans office.
Dr. Sesman: “Commander. Most of the personnel that witnessed the event will be terminated, excluding you and myself. You will be assigned with a new team and a new unit, Black Strike Eagles and will speak with no one about this. O5 command orders.
Commander █████: “No word of this then? Yeah, I felt something like that would happen. Don’t you worry about that sir.”
Dr. Sesman: “Very well, I will announce and prohibit any interaction with SCP-XXXX from now on. You are dismissed.”
