Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be placed on a 4'x4' table in a standard Euclid class containment cell, with a chair situated next to the table.
Chamber is only to be accessed for testing purposes and never for recreational purposes. Any unauthorized attempts to eat SCP-XXXX will result in punishment as directed by the O5-Council.
Chamber is to be monitored and recorded regularly in case of unexpected changes.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a birthday cake of variable sizes,shapes,and decorations
depending on the subject present during consumption. The cake will always have one singular yellow candle present on the top of the cake. If a subject (hereby referred to as SCP-XXXX-1) has seen SCP-XXXX during their birthday, SCP-XXXX assumes the form of the SCP-XXXX-1's most enjoyed kind of cake in an attempt to coax them into consumption. If SCP-XXXX-1 consumes the cake, SCP-XXXX-1 will experience vivid hallucinations of the events occurring during their most enjoyed birthday, euphoria, and enhanced production of adrenaline and dopamine.
If SCP-XXXX-1 continues to eat SCP-XXXX the effects will strengthen to exponential levels, many subject's have been reported to cry,sing, and in rare cases, have heart attacks. If SCP-XXXX manages to completely consume SCP-XXXX, the effects will cease and over a 24-hour period SCP-XXXX will regenerate, assuming the form of an unfrosted 9"x9" square vanilla cake with the candle relighting and moving into the appropriate space. The candle stays lit throughout the entire process without melting, and only when SCP-XXXX is eaten can the candles be blown out.
If a subject eats SCP-XXXX before their birthday, the effects will be replaced by the cake tasting similar to that of human feces. It is unknown how SCP-XXXX does not spoil. Upon removal of the candle, SCP-XXXX will decompose at a rapid rate until the candle is placed upon SCP-XXXX again.
Addendum Log: SCP-XXXX was observed to rapidly decompose into a substance similar to feces, it remained in this state for 5 weeks until regenerating into standard form
