Subject/s: 3 subjects, and 3 armed personnel for the sake of expedition completion have been selected to enter scp-5212, D-73424-A Male, 27yrs, D-28643-B Female, 46yrs, and D-19604-C Male, 33yrs, all subjects and personnel have been equipped with a headset with a built in camera, a satchel bag, a hand held torch, and a small bottle of water. Personnel are equipped with a standard issue M4 Carbine with a torch attached to the side for clearer visibility. All armed personnel have been issued tranquillization bullets, to subdue, and contain scp-5212-2. One personnel has also been issued a heartbeat sensor, in an attempt to pick up the potential heartbeat of scp-5212-2.
All members of the team are instructed to enter scp-5212, with the front door being left open, D class subjects are ordered to lead the expedition. Control then instructs the team to take a route through the first door in the longer hallway, in an attempt to find the closed door. The team then finds their way to the T junction, control asks if the closed door is in view, Subject-A comments on a new layout, with another long hallway, with open doors, no closed door in sight.
Control orders the team to proceed down the hallway, the team continues, with D class subjects becoming more destressed as they venture deeper inside scp-5212-1. Cameras then view one room with a more bright glow than others, a type of light is seen inside, similar to one used in an operating room, the team is instructed to enter with caution.
Subject-A begins to panic as cameras view a dissected corpse, one of the previously determined terminated Subject D-37564. Control orders the team to investigate the room, Subject-B then finds more handwritten notes and textbooks, with illustrations of Subject D-37564’s dissected corpse, with more writing labeling each organ. More illustrations are found, a handheld torch, a headset with a built in camera, and a handgun. Control then instructs the subjects to retrieve all samples of writing found.
Subject-C starts commenting on a faint tapping noise being heard from outside the room. Control then instructs the entire team to make their way out of the room, and to proceed down the hallway. The team gets to a corner, control orders them to proceed. The closed door is now in sight of cameras. Control instructs them to approach the door. The armed personnel equipped with the heartbeat sensor comments on the device's sudden activeness, picking up over 10 life readings on the other side of the door. Control orders Subject-A to open the door, they comply and open the door, only to be met by scp-5212-2 holding it shut. The heartbeat sensor has lost reading of any life signs beyond the door, reporting that scp-5212-2 does not read on any scans or heartbeat monitors.
Control then orders Subject-C to attempt to enter the room, Subject-C refuses the direct order, but armed personnel convince them to proceed. Subject-C is able to slip through the opening in the door without phasing scp-5212-2, the same flash of light is picked up by the camera. With this instance being present for longer. Control scans then pick up Subject-C again, which indicates they have exited scp-5212-1, and re-entered the dimension.
Scans soon lose contact with Subject-C, along with visual and audio feed, Dr. To██ ███ comes to the conclusion that Subject-C has been transported to a new dimension, or terminated when they entered the room. Control instructs armed personnel to engage scp-5212-2, and to contain it, they comply and begin firing at the open gap in the door. The door slams shut, with no indication of containment. Personnel comment on the return of the tapping noise. Control instructs them to make their way back to the autopsy room, the team complies and proceeds.
Subject-B comments on the increasing volume of the tapping. Control tells them to wait, both subjects begin to panic as multiple doors are heard slamming shut, only to be opened and slammed shut again by the vocal feed. Subjects are instructed to calm down and to proceed. All cameras then pick up a bright white light coming from all rooms, and both ends of the hallway, while the tapping evolved into loud banging coming from the light.
Control orders the team to return to the exit immediately. The three armed personnel are heard firing their weapon until all vocal feeds are cut out, control instructs the team to reactivate the vocal feed, to no response. visual feed remains intact. As the bright lights once again returns, covering all cameras, with them deactivating shortly after. After two minutes had passed no sign of any cameras reactivating were viewed from control.
It has now determined the entire team has been terminated by scp-xxxx-2.
No further expeditions are to be issued inside SCP-5212 until further notice.
Any person attempting to enter SCP-5212 will be met with termination.
Post expedition report: With the loss of our entire expedition team, it has been decided that no more expeditions are to take place within scp-xxxx, no future attempts to chart the interior of scp-5212-1, or the containment of scp-5212-2 are to proceed without approval from a higher ranking official of the SCP FOUNDATION. Translations of the discovered language are still underway, with no new samples to speed up the process. With reports of scans picking up multiple heartbeats from the other side of the closed door, it is assumed that scp-5212-2 is not the only inhabitant of the pocket dimension, but we are still to believe it's the only one to leave. More evidence suggests that scp-5212-2 only attacks when provoked. From what was viewed inside scp-5212-2 supposed autopsy room, the inhabitant is learning about our dimension, using anything it can get its hands on as research. It is unknown whether it's for hostile intent or just education. The foundation has been notified of our findings, and are aware of the possible security risk.
