Special containment procedures: Scp is to be kept standard 02 containment chamber and can be accessed at any time by any personnel with an 02 clearance level or higher. Within Scp containment chamber a cassette player cassette racks to store instances of scp1 inside of.
Object description:
SCP is two objects named scpa and scpB respectively. scpa is a portable cassette player of the model. scpb are a pair of headphones. When SCPB is not inserted into SCPA functions of both Scps are non-anomalous and can be used for their normal intended functions. even when together scpa will not produce any anomalois activity until the record button is pressed. with or without a blank cassette scpa 's anomalous activities begin. the speakers of the player ask the subject using it to put on the headphones if not done already. After the headphones are put on subjects almost instantly fall asleep. Durring this sleep subjects report being in a "dream like state" in which the subjects are filled with thoughts of music and sound. after five minutes of being "asleep"the subject will awake to the voice of the player speaking to them from scpb.

Durring the time a subject thinks about this they usually maintain a forward and straight facing stare. the length of this state varies depending on each subject but is reported '"under the control" of the subject. After the subject is done "recording" the button will pop back up once scp—b is removed from the head. Regardless of whether a blank cassette has been inserted or not a cassette is found in scpa and can be removed and played on any cassette player including scpa. All tapes produced (referred to as SCp1) when played back play the exact thing the person was thinking of. no matter how complex it may have been.
"I tried remember all of a song when recording but I only remember a few bits of it and definetly remembered some words wrong. but I stead of thinking about it more I just took the headphones off. the tape that was produced contained the song but with the misplaced lyrics instead of the correct ones. Despite it being wrong it sounded exactly as it would if the band had been recording it in studio."

Addendum: SCP was introduced to Dclass. after scp1 was produced and played on the provided cassette player all personnel, except for dclass, within listening range died. dclass remained in the room shouting [REDACTED] for 7 hours until successfully neutralized by D(number hidden give me time to figure out how to do that). Researchers concludes that the tape produced by dclass was a memetic kill agent meant to kill all but dclass personnel. All dClass are prohibited to use scp for any purpose including testing. the instance of scp1 created has been contained and relocated to Dr(blocked out)'s [DATA EXPUNGED.]
