SCP-XXXX Radioatcive
rating: 0+x

Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: Authorisation to do experiments on SCP-XXXX should be granted by O5-██. SCP-XXXX should be hooked up to two IV's at all times due to the constant loss of fluid, researchers should wear gloves when touching SCP-XXXX. If SCP-XXXX does die, it is not to be resuscitated under any circumstance [See Addendum XXXX-01]. SCP-XXXX should be given an appropriate amount of Morphine each day.

SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a 4 m x 4 m x 4m room in Site-17 with nothing but a hospital bed for it to lie on, the room should be sterilized twice a day to avoid all chances of SCP-XXXX getting an infection and it should have constant ventilation to avoid mould growth [See Incident Log-XXXX-01]. SCP-XXXX should be monitored at all times and any activity should be documented. SCP-XXXX should be showered every two days with lukewarm water and should be dried with a cloth to avoid skin peeling off, the towel should be disposed of afterwards. Staff should refrain touching SCP-XXXX as it causes it a great amount of pain.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a humanoid male who has been identified as [DATA EXPUNGED], a twenty-four-year-old (as of 2001) from ████████, Russia. In March, 1999 a nuclear incident occurred at the nuclear power plant he worked at which resulted in him being exposed to twenty-four Sieverts (Sv) of radiation1, although his body has deteriorated greatly he is still alive and is seemingly unable to be killed.

SCP-XXXX's skin is severely burnt across its whole body and if touched it will peel off, it is completely blind and it's deaf in its right ear. It is missing its left arm from the elbow downwards See Incident Log-XXXX-01. SCP-XXXX is unable to move its legs or arms and its eyelids have disintegrated. SCP-XXXX produces very little sound, sometimes when breathing a whistling can be heard. Its lungs are severely damaged and only the left one works, they are both black in colour. Its brain has decreased by over half its original size. SCP-XXXX receives food via a feeding tube which ends up in a colostomy bag due to SCP-XXXX's colon having decayed. SCP-XXXX's condition hasn't gotten worse since entering the foundation and the damage the radiation is doing to him has seemingly frozen, the only exception to this is when it lost its ability to speak, but when SCP-XXXX was capable of speech, it often mentioned how it was in constant pain and it requested to be euthanised frequently.

Since being brought into the foundation, many attempts to euthanise SCP-XXXX have been performed but all have been unsuccessful [See Experiment-XXXX-01 to -03]. SCP-XXXX seems to be willing to stay contained in the foundation and due to its condition, there is little chance of it breaching its containment.

Addendum-XXXX-01: I've made the decision that if SCP-XXXX is to ever die then he is not to be resuscitated. He is clearly suffering and to keep him alive is inhumane. - Dr ███

Addendum-XXXX-02: SCP-XXXX came into the custody of the foundation two years after the incident when it was found by Dr █████ while he was visiting the hospital it was being kept at, at this point in time, SCP-XXXX had lost all motor function, he was able to speak but only for a short amount of time at once, which meant that brief interviews were possible.

Incident Log-XXXX-01: In 2004, Cladosporium2 was found growing on SCP-XXXX's left arm so Dr ███ made the decision to have it amputated, the amputation was successful but due to the damage to SCP-XXXX's body, the bleeding wouldn't stop which led to the veins needing to be cauterized. The arm was disposed of via incineration but during the process, it went missing and it was presumed stolen3.
