This is a photo taken of SCP-XXXX as it was found in the basement of SCP-XXXX-S
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is currently being kept in a repurposed abandoned sound stage at [DATA EXPUNGED] in Nevada. The sound stage is encircled by a fence one (1) square kilometer around SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX is to be under surveillance 24/7. SCP-XXXX is immobile and cannot escape containment.
Description: SCP-XXXX is made up of approximately 18 human corpses, all young Caucasian females, sewed together in the shape of a twenty (20) sided prism, or an icosahedron. It resembles a basket fungus (Ileodictyon cibarium) in shape. SCP-XXXX was discovered in the basement of normal human resident, name: █████ ███████ (SCP XXXX-S) on the 24/5/20██. It was discovered following an investigation of numerous disappearances in the area. It has been confirmed that each human corpse was sewed together by the occupant of the house, Subject XXXX-S. SCP-XXXX has shown unusual behavior in that it has not decomposed like regular corpses. Subject XXXX-S claims that no embalming process was used, just "Mother's magic" as he puts it.
X-Ray scans have shown that SCP-XXXX's internal organs have slowly deteriorated into a thick, mushy sludge. This sludge flows through the corpses, around the body of SCP-XXXX. The sludge has been observed to flow faster during daylight hours, and harden during the night. Scientists assigned to this case currently believe that SCP-XXXX has adapted to using a photosynthesis-like effect to gain sustenance and stay fresh and alive. They are not entirely sure if SCP-XXXX is sentient, but it is confirmed that the brains haven't dissolved into sludge like all other internal organs. The brain of each corpse has thinned out in to a lining on the inside of SCP-XXXX. All neurons are intact however brain activity is minimal.
Details on SCP-XXXX-S
The creator of SCP-XXXX, (currently being held under the number SCP-XXXX-S) is a Caucasian male, age unidentified, name unidentified. He appears to be within his mid fifties (50s) to early sixties (60)s. He is severely malnourished. His house, [DATA EXPUNGED], Nevada, is missing most common living facilities, fridge, shower, faucet, boiler. There was a toilet found, however it was not hooked up to any sewage system and was missing basic plumbing. The toilet was overflowing with weeks/months worth of waste. He did not own any cutlery, and he stated his main source of sustenance was cacti, insects, and human flesh. The following is an interview with SCP-XXXX-S
Interviewed: SCP-XXXX-S
Interviewer: Dr. ████
Foreword: The following interview was conducted on 25/5/20██, following the release of subject SCP-XXXX-S into foundation custody. Subject was in very poor condition, wearing ripped and bloody clothes, appearing severely malnourished. SCP-XXXX-S is in a constant state of deliriousness.
<Begin Log>Dr. ████: Did you create the being that was found in your basement?
SCP-XXXX-S: Do you mean the pariah? No no, not me… ah, sir… that was uhh, Mother, yes, old Mother, her recipe, yes-sir.
Dr. ████: When you say Mother, are you talking about your own mother?
SCP-XXXX-S: Hey now, she birthed me an' all my brothers an' sisters yessiree she did… Uh huh, our lovely mother.
Dr. ████: Where is Mother now?
Subject is silent, appears distraught, brow furrowing.
Dr. ████: How did you create the being that was found in your house?
SCP-XXXX-S: Oh uhhh… 'tis an old family recipe of ours, yes-sir, Mother's Magic, uh huh.
Dr. ████: Recipe? So you were planning on eating it?
SCP-XXXX-S: Nah uh… um… we were, like… family dinner, you know?
Dr. ████: Do you know where your family is now?SCP-XXXX-S I, yeah… wait… no, they… they, uh… they—
Subject loses consciousness.
<End Log>
Closing Statement Subject was escorted away by personnel and placed in standard human containment, and will be visited by a psychiatrist for further mental care.
Another interview is scheduled on the date: [DATA EXPUNGED]
Addendum XXXX.1: Tissue Sample.
Observation XXXX.1A: Date of report: 12/6/20██. Three (3) researchers entered SCP-XXXX's facility. A surface tissue sample of 20x20 (twenty) cm was taken from SCP-XXXX. Pink fluid oozed out of the laceration. This fluid surrounded the wound and hardened, as it has been observed to when no direct sunlight is reaching it. Upon further testing of the sample, Over 900 billion microbes where discovered inside the small sample of skin, many of which have never been discovered before. A massive observation showed that once every approximate twelve hours, the microbial life on the sample was decimated, leaving fewer than 1 million microbes on the sample. The cause of this is unknown. After turning off the UV lights, the sample hardened and microbes "regrew" over the following 12 hours, back to over 900 billion. The new microbes have much more advanced properties than the ones that existed in the previous day.
Observation XXXX.1B: Date of report: 13/6/20██. Researchers left the lights on high heat, aimed directly onto the sample for 24 hours. Massive loss of fluid occurred. Over the course of the night it seeped out of dry blisters, and evaporated. Microbial life was once again decimated, however it did not regenerate. The scientists currently working on the experiment believe that if SCP-XXXX is left in sunlight for and excess amount of time (24-72 hours) it will completely die. If left in darkness, it will harden and hibernate.
Addendum XXXX.2: Recent Developments.
Observation XXXX.2A: Date of report: 4/7/20██. X-Ray scans show organs that have recently "grown", or materialized somehow inside SPC-XXXX. Scans depict pockets of hard "beads" throughout the inside of SCP-XXXX's body. The purpose of these organs is currently unknown.

Observation XXXX.2B: Date of report: 7/7/20██. During a standard routine check of SCP-XXXX's enclosure, SCP-XXXX emitted a harsh rattling sound at a volume of 159 decibels, breaking both of the researcher's eardrums.
Observation XXXX.2C: Date of report: 9/7/20██. After dissection of the organ, doctors have now confirmed the sound originated inside of it. Each bead is connected to a length of muscle which tenses and relaxes rapidly, smashing the hard beads together and emitting a shrill sound. The volume of this has currently only be recorded up to 159 decibels, but further testing is needed to see if SCP-XXXX is deadly. Class change from Safe to Euclid has been requested.
