Special Containment Procedures: SCP-[XXXX] is to be locked in a 0.5x0.5x0.5 meter metal box sealed with a 7-digit lock. Under the lid should be a second cover which has a 3-digit lock on it just in case the first lid should be opened without authorization. SCP-[XXXX] will be sealed under that cover.
Description: SCP-[XXXX] appears to be a red, 15 cm tall by 3 cm thick hardcover book with black trimming, the cover reading "Jokes You'll Die For," the author's name appearing to have been smeared to the point that it is unrecognizable. Once the subject opens the book, they are met with a joke, not able to look away. Once they read the entire joke, they begin to go into a fit of laughter. After a few minutes of nonstop laughter, the subject dies of suffocation. SCP-[XXXX] was discovered in the town of [REDACTED], Idaho, in an abandoned library, after the Foundation received reports of mysterious cases of suffocation in the library. The Foundation obtained this book and transported it to Site-██.
Addendum [XXXX]-A: The only evidence of a possible author of [XXXX] is a footnote on page 53, saying "visit Anderson tomorrow." Who this "Anderson" is and what he/she has to do with the author is yet to be determined.
