Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4836 is kept in a Class-III humanoid containment chamber, reinforced with a 10 cm layer of acid-resistant nickel-chromium alloy. SCP-4836 is to be issued several puzzles and given an assortment of manual labor tasks as needed. SCP-4836 is to be provided a designated "reward" object¹ whenever a task is completed; this can be done manually or automatically. SCP-4836 will consume the object, thus recovery is impossible. After Incident 4836-01, Class D personnel are no longer authorized for experimentation.

Description: SCP-4836 is a quadrupedal humanoid entity with conical teeth, a black reptilian tail and an unidentified symbol branded onto its chest. It is 2.5 m in length and weighs 380 kg.

Upon oxygenation, SCP-4836's blood blackens and corrodes substances outside of SCP-4836's own cells. SCP-4836 has the ability to voluntarily augment its physical size and is also capable of rapid tissue regeneration. The regenerative abilities of SCP-4836 become less effective after repeated separation. After feeding, its regeneration resumes full functionality.

SCP-4836 will actively seek and attempt to complete any labor or puzzle it finds. It will become anxious if more than five hours pass without successfully locating or being given a task. These tasks can be challenging or simple, however, SCP-4386 shows a preference for challenging tasks. SCP-4836 becomes distressed when it detects no bipedal entities present.

SCP-4836 is notably quiet when doing tasks. If asked to communicate, SCP-4836 will only use silent communication.

Addendum 4836: Discovery Log: SCP-4836 was first discovered residing in the forests of ██████, Pennsylvania after reports of a meteor strike. Many of the farm-owning residents had reported mysterious repairs to damaged structures and missing livestock. When SCP-4836 was found it had been uprooting trees and stacking them in an orderly fashion. After being sighted by foundation agents, SCP-4836 approached the agents and examined them. After analyzing the agents, it patiently awaited an objective. The agents took SCP-4836 into custody and it complied with their orders.

Procedure: Not tasked for 15 hours.

Results: Vigorously clawed, pounded and gnawed at the walls of containment cell.

Procedure: Not tasked for 36 hours.

Results: Enlarged size to 5 m in length and emitted muffled shrieks. SCP-4836 then enlarged to 20 m, breaching containment. After re-containment, SCP-4836 reverted to normal size and began auto-cannibalism only to fail due to its anatomical nature of regeneration. SCP-4836 became unresponsive and unable to regenerate after a prolonged attempt at auto-cannibalism.

Procedure: Moving a 50 cm x 50 cm x 50 cm 200 kg crate.

Results: SCP-4836 carried out the task with no hesitation. Dr. Gexxel rewarded a rubber ball toy, which was summarily consumed.

Procedure: Moving a 3 m x 3 m x 3 m 1000 kg crate.

Results: SCP-4836 enlarged body mass to lift the crate. Dr. Gexxel rewarded a tire, SCP-4836 consumed the tire.

Addendum: SCP-4836 attempted to follow Dr. Gexxel out of the containment, but stopped when commanded.

Procedure: Instructed by Class D personnel D-4836-01 to stack crates.

Results: Carried out the task, enlarging body mass to reach the boxes on the top stack. D-4836-01 rewarded a porcelain mug, SCP-4836 consumed the mug.

Procedure: D-4836-01 commanded disposal of the crates.

Results: SCP-4836 ingested the crates. D-4836-01 rewarded a wooden chair, SCP-4836 consumed the chair.

INCIDENT 4836-01

Procedure: D-4836-01 ordered SCP-4836 to break out of the containment cell.

Results: SCP-4836 began to apply force to the containment cell walls and attempted enlarging its body mass to apply more force. Eventually, SCP-4836 enlarged its body mass to the size of the containment cell, crushing all objects and D-4836-01. SCP-4836 returned to normal size and reacted in a vehement matter after noticing the expiration of D-4836-01.

Procedure: Vivisected SCP-4836 to examine stomach anatomy and contents.

Results: Stomach structure appears to be that of a human, but lacks a mucus coating and gastric acid. No contents were found in the stomach despite being recently fed. A surgical tool was dropped inside the stomach cavity and spontaneously combusted before it could be retrieved. Tested the anomaly with a variety of other materials, all displayed the same result.

Foreword: Dr. Gexxel was chosen to conduct this interview due to his fluency in American Sign Language. All 'dialogue' was transcribed from video footage and Dr. Gexxel's notes.

Dr. Gexxel: Good evening.

SCP-4836: (Approaches).

Dr. Gexxel: I'd like you to use ASL to answer some questions for me.

SCP-4836: (Signs) ok.

Dr. Gexxel: What is your name?

SCP-4836: You and the other masters here call me "SCP-4836"². Some other masters called me [NON-COMPREHENSIBLE].

Dr. Gexxel: Can you speak?

SCP-4836: I can, but I am supposed to avoid making noise.

Dr. Gexxel: Who told you not to make noise?

SCP-4836: My masters.

Dr. Gexxel: Very well, why do you do what you are asked?

SCP-4836: I will be deemed defective if I do not. Defects aren't treated very nicely.

Dr. Gexxel: Why do you eat your rewards?

SCP-4836: I need to fuel my body.

Dr. Gexxel: Why don't you eat without doing a task prior?

SCP-4836: I did not earn it. My masters told me never to take anything I did not earn.

Dr. Gexxel: Where are you from?

SCP-4836: I remember a facility like this one, but my masters looked different and there were a lot of others that looked like me. Some of them really did not like listening and were escorted to a room for extreme defectors. I never saw any of them come out.

Dr. Gexxel: Where was this facility?

SCP-4836: I do not know. I was told to never go outside and I didn't want to be labeled defective. I remember being told to go into a tiny room for several weeks before ending up in a strange land and coming here. I kind of liked that strange land.

Dr. Gexxel: Who are your masters?

SCP-4836: You are my master.

Dr. Gexxel: Then why do you listen to everyone?

SCP-4836: They are my masters too.

Special Containment Procedures: Any subject that suspects they are under the effects of SCP-XXXX must attempt to sleep immediately. Subjects that have been previously affected by SCP-XXXX must get at least 9 hours of sleep a day.

SCP-XXXX-01 is to be tranquilized on sight.

Description: SCP-XXXX is an auditory/visual hallucination of a wendigo making exaggerated gestures and shouting expletives at the subject until they decide to sleep. SCP-XXXX occurs when an individual has been awake for more than a minimum of 16 hours. Once the subject attempts to start sleeping SCP-XXXX will cease action. Attempting to falsely sleep will not deter SCP-XXXX. If the subject continues to ignore SCP-XXXX it will verbalize louder and approach the subject.

When a subject has reached 36 hours without sleep after the initial appearance of SCP-XXXX, their cell structure will begin to mutate. After 8 hours of mutation, the subject's anatomy will be that of a wendigo and develop a craving for human flesh. Subjects at this stage of SCP-XXXX are designated as SCP-XXXX-01.

SCP-XXXX-01 will attempt to sate its cravings; SCP-XXXX-01 reverts to its normal cell structure after falling unconscious from any source. If allowed to occur naturally SCP-XXXX-01 will reach this state from a food coma. Subjects that have been affected by SCP-XXXX previously have continued effects when the requirements are reached.

When a subject awakens after the effects SCP-XXXX they will not recall the incident. Some subjects report the wendigo appearing in their dreams, but not the incident itself. (This is a WIP!)

Researcher Davids voluntarily exposed himself to SCP-XXXX to document the effects in detail.

23:00 - Tired, but no signs of SCP-XXXX.

23:12 - Saw a figure run by in the hallway.

23:20 - SCP-XXXX hallucination appeared and screamed, "What the hell are you doing? Don't you know how bad it is to stay up so late! Get the fuck in bed! Rest yourself!" While gesturing at the bed in the room.

02:45 - SCP-XXXX reappeared, "Are you fucking ignoring me?! This shit ain't healthy! Use some meds if you have to!" SCP-XXXX pointed at the melatonin pills on the desk.

07:56 - SCP-XXXX, "Look dude I know a lot of crazy shits and giggles happen in this place but you gotta be well rested to tackle it don't you? So get your ass in bed!"

12:23 - "Man you're killing me! Shut your damn eyelids, shuffle over to that bed, and go the fuck to sleep!"

18:47 - "Come on dude! What the hell kind of facility is this? "Sleep Collects Pissants Foundation?!" 'cause you sure are acting like that's what it stands for!"

00:24 - "Look, man, if you wanted me to force you to go to sleep you could've-fucking-told-me-to-hours-ago!"

04:35 - Beginning the mutation process into SCP-XXXX-01. SCP-XXXX, "Yeah you see all the hair growing on your body?! You're gonna end up lookin' like me IF YOU DON'T FUCKING SLEEP!"

08:42 - SCP-XXXX, "DUDE YOU HAVE FUCKING HORNS COMING OUT OF YOUR HEAD HOW ARE YOU NOT ALARMED BY THIS?! YOU CAN STOP IT AT ANY TIME IF YOU JUST SLEEP!!"

11:58 - Taking melatonin and getting into bed before fully developing into SCP-XXXX-01.

Note: After waking, Researcher Davids attempted to dispose of the notes stating that they're illegitimate and "complete hogwash".
