Special Containment Procedures: SCP-6009 is to be contained in a glass box, 15cm x 10cm x 5cm similar to the containment of SCP-035, due to possessing similar anomalous properties. SCP-6009 is to be handled with any sort of hand protection that is not animal or plant based, except by Class-D personnel.
Description: SCP-6007 is a large red ruby measuring 14.7cm in length, 8cm in breadth and 3.4cm in thickness. Within sight of living entity, the victim will experience a natural urge to touch SCP-6009, or hold it. When SCP-6009 is touched by a living entity, it will inflict the victim with SCP-6009-B. An organism with SCP-6009-B will incinerate the next object it touches, unless the object is larger than the victim. Once one (1) object is destroyed, victim will return to normal.
Tests:
D-6161 is instructed to touch SCP-6007 and then use a pen to write his identification (D-6161) on paper. Pen instantly went up in flames and was reduced to ashes in under a (1) second. D-6161 did not show the anomalous properties of SCP-6007-B afterwards.
