Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4924 should be under observation at all times. Though not presenting a direct thread, atleast two specialized Guards, that always have access to pictures of the subject, should be trained for that task. It is necessary to always look at the subject. It should stay at it's current location in ████████, but may be transport after permission of an level 5 Agent. If SCP-4924 is showing any signs of activity, immediately contact Dr. █████████ Currently there are no further procedures required.
Description: The subject is a Cube of unknown material and origin. The sides measure exactly1 1000 cubic centimeters each. The subject has the unique ability to erase every memory of it from ones mind, if not being looked at. This makes it very easy to forget about it and leave the subject unattended. It must be noted that looking at SCP-4924 brings back memory of it. Written information about it seems not to be affected by the subject and is the only currently known way to safe information about it. Pictures, Videos, or any other way of visualisation of the subject have the same effect as looking physically at it. SCP-4924 is believed to be a containment for an unknown object itself, but until now has shown no signs of activity or effects for it's surroundings. Any scans of the object are unnable to detect it's true purpose or function.
Addendum: Note from Dr. █████████: As I am writing this text I have to look at the subject constantly. SCP-4924 was standing in the hallway of ████████ when I found it about 5 hours ago.
I cant say since when it was there but I assume it was being transportet and forgotten about by the responsible agents. I am looking to show the subject to various agents and personnel. I hope to "wake" memories of SCP-4924 in those people and find out more about it or even find a way to counteract it's effect.
