SCP-4959 is a Euclid class monster with the appearance of a stuffed monkey at first glance. Upon further inspection, though it looked like as if something was inside it. D-class personnel was put inside of the containment field to investigate, as soon as one of them made direct eye contact it turned inside out and grew into a heaping pile of worms. then it appeared to make the victim walk towards it in a trance-like state. guards were sent in to take the personnel so they could explain what they saw. The victim reported seeing freedom and his family he said it was what he desired most. the other person that was in there with him reported seeing a pile of worms just like the guards and the personnel looking through the cameras. interestingly enough the guards and prisoner were both wearing some sort of eye protection, for example, the prisoner was wearing glasses and the guards were wearing visors. this leads us to believe that only if it can see your eyes directly it will trance you. that leads the foundation to believe that it only sees in infrared vision but further studies need to be conducted.

d-class personnel was sent in earlier today to investigate what happens if "you get to close".
when the subject to reach out to touch SCP-4959 lashed out and grabbed him and immediately he began to scream breaking out of the trance. when he pulled his arm out it was shredded to the bone no meat left at all and as he began to run it lashed out some form of tentacle-like arm it grabbed onto him and he was devoured and then SCP-4959 spat out his completely intact skeleton as it retreated back into its original form.
SCP-4959 containment information:
- 5 meters of pure concrete all around with no gaps whatsoever
- 90 cm of steel plating on either side of concrete
- 3, 2 meter thick doors opening only when other doors are completely shut
