Site Overview
Site-89 has a reputation within the SCP Foundation — to have extremely precautious containment procedures, often terminating D-class personnel in the process. A number of SCP instances within the site contain sentience, and on occasion complex-problem solving capabilities. Despite numerous catastrophic containment breaches, on-site task forces are more than capable of containing escaped anomalies. Site-89 tracks multiple anomalies within the Pacific Ocean and several instances around the world, mostly through expeditions and operations by Mobile Task Force Titan-1 ("Off the Books") and stationary task forces contain escaped anomalies (view personnel tab for more information). Site-89 also provides as a meeting place for Groups of Interest, such as the Serpents Hand, Anderson Robotics, defecting members of the Chaos Insurgency, defecting members of the Global Occult Coalition, and several government officials. Site-89 is most notably known for "Dog Spiders", "What's in the Box?", "Piles of Insanity", The Shattered Gateway", "Hallway Wanderer", and "Who is It?" among several other entities contained within the heavily monitored containment zones. Dimensional Area-19 is connected to Site-89, remaining 58097 meters away and contains SCP-6700.
Site-89 has several notable mobile task forces, as listed below.
Standard Security Personnel

The Standard Security personnel of Site-89 have been nicknamed "The Tough Traumatics" by surrounding sites, such as Research Site-90, under supervision of Ethics Committee member William Sharp. The personnel are equipped with a P90 compact submachine gun and M9 handgun. Each member is given two flash grenades and one fragmentation grenade. Personnel under this group are outfitted with a white undersuit with a bulletproof vest and helmet, although gas masks and Level 3 HAZMAT exclusion suits are available during emergency situations. By standard protocol, there are to be 86-90 members of the standard security task force stationed at Site-89 at all times. The standard security force are always the first responders to a containment breach, so each individual is connected to a radio network to report to Rapid Response Teams entering the area to re-contain the anomaly. During containment breaches, security personnel will divide into two groups, one dealing with the anomaly and the other to protect the researchers and doctors.
Mobile Task Force Gamma-14 ("Sculptors")
MTF Gamma-14 Insignia. Hover to zoom.
Mobile Task Force Gamma-14 has been tasked with capturing/containing SCP-6703 and SCP-6703-2 instances at Site-89. All MTF Gamma-14 personnel are to be outfitted with a HAES Mk. II1 Suit when contact with SCP-6703 or SCP-6703 manifestations are necessary. All MTF Gamma-14 personnel are to keep a distance of six feet from SCP-6703-2 entities at any given time and are not to come into direct contact with items related to SCP-6703. If a member of MTF Gamma-14 has made physical contact with an SCP-6703 item, they are to be terminated immediately. Mobile Task Force Gamma-14 Commander █████ has access to the on-site warheads if Site-89 is breached by SCP-6703 instances, detonation of the warheads is permitted under the imminent threat of a ZDK-Class Earth-Termination Scenario2. Under no circumstances are infected members to be rescued and no personnel are to attempt recovery of the subject.
Charlie-1 of MTF Gamma-14 acts as the internal security, where they are the normal moderators of SCP-6703 as well as SCP-6703-2 manifestations. Bravo-1 react as reinforcements if SCP-6703 instances are to breach containment. Alpha-1 is the special forces that respond when a ZDK-Class Earth-Termination Scenario is about to occur.
Mobile Task Force Titan-1 ("Off the Books")

Mobile Task Force Titan-1 ("Off the Books") is a group of Rapid Response operatives that are deployed on high risk operations that involve tracking dangerous entities, containing a breach from multiple keter-esoteric class anomalies, extraction of POI, elimination of GOI, and guarding POI. MTF Titan-1 is under the supervision of Ethics Committee member William Sharp and Director Charles "Diamond" Hollender. All operations that MTF Titan-1 is assigned to are strictly level 5 clearance and above (case by case), and any personnel under level 5 that view mission briefings, logs, or reports are to be amnesticized and relocated. Over the twelve years that Mobile Task Force Titan-1 has been active, they have sustained 20 casualties of the original 36 operatives. Replacements have been assigned accordingly. Mobile Task Force Titan-1 had the design created by George Tanglewood of the Graphic Designs Division. Each operative is given an advanced Epsilon 556 rifle and a standard M9 pistol sidearm.

Captain █████ ████ "Blackout" is the leader of Mobile Task Force Titan-1 and was one of the original members in 2008. MTF Titan-1 was founded on 10/30/2008 by former Ethics Committee Member/Head of Internal Security/Site Director Charles Hollender, Ethics Committee/Site Director William Sharp, and the deceased O5-2. MTF Titan-1 and Mobile Task Force Zeta-6 ("Midnight Trackers") often work together and form Collaborative Task Force Europa-1 ("Off the Maps"). Titan-1 and Zeta-6 often work on classified operations and are both under supervision of Director Hollender.
Mobile Task Force Zeta-6 ("Midnight Trackers")

Anomalies under containment of Site-89
Notable Containment Incidents
7th of November, 1994
SCP-6701: Breached containment and caused a casualty count of 34 across Area-89-2. 64% of Mobile Task Force Sigma-7 ("Curtain Call") were terminated, or expired directly after the incident due to blood loss. Mobile Task Force Zeta-6 ("Midnight Trackers") and Mobile Task Force Kappa-4 ("Blind as Bats") were sent in to re-contain SCP-6701.
27th of April, 1995
SCP-6703: SCP-6703-2 instances breached containment and attacked research staff, terminating seven personnel. SCP-6703 then released fragments of itself through the floor and attached to several personnel, namely Director Charles Hollender. Instead of transforming them into SCP-6703-2 instances, they turned into full marble statues while still retaining their memories and personalities. The group of individuals were contained and quarantined for one month before they were allowed to return to their previous posts.
4th of January, 1999
SCP-6733: During the exploration of SCP-6733-Alpha, several members from Collaborative Task Force Europa-1 ("Off the Maps") disturbed the nesting chamber of the SCP-6733 entities, causing them to leave SCP-6733-Alpha and abduct civilians from the city of █████ █████████ State Park, California. Task Force members evacuated the cave and captured the SCP-6733 instances with the help of Mobile Task Force Lamda-4 ("Birdwatchers"). The civilians who witnessed the SCP-6733 entities were apprehended, administered Class A amnestics, and returned to their homes.
29th of February, 1999
SCP-6724, SCP-6739: SCP-6724 breached containment, terminating 16 research personnel, and accidentally set SCP-6739 free, manifesting behind staff and terminating them. Mobile Task Force Titan-1 ("Off the Books") and Mobile Task Force Epsilon-11 ("Nine Tailed Fox") contained both anomalies successfully with three operative casualties.
12th of December, 2005
SCP-6753, SCP-6788: simultaneously, SCP-6753 breached containment when Janitorial Staff member Larry Pudman discovered the SCP-6753 file, sending the anomaly into a fit of rage, terminating personnel in the surrounding area. SCP-6788-1 instances were sent forward to Research Outpost-FB-43 where SCP-6788 was being monitored, and attempted to breach containment. Successfully terminating 16 personnel of the on-site task force, Mobile Task Force Zeta-6, detachment Yankee-3; alongside research personnel. The hostile instances were terminated shortly after Mobile Task Force Titan-1 arrived to assist.
11th of July, 2009
SCP-6739, SCP-6766: SCP-6766 breached containment and manifested four previously unidentified instances of SCP-6766-3 to attack SCP-6739 for a previous negative interaction. 34 staff and security personnel were terminated during this breach, and Mobile Task Force Epsilon-11 re-contained both instances before destroying any more of Site-89.
15th of May, 2012
SCP-6773: SCP-6773-D was found to be disguised as Doctor Samantha Hardy within Site-89 since the anomaly had not been seen since Incident.6773.3 on ██/██/20██. SCP-6773-D then began slowly terminating personnel before attempting to breach SCP-6773-C out of containment before being apprehended by security officers Aaron Miguel and Natalie Thompson. In total SCP-6773 killed six personnel.
31st of March, 2016
SCP-6799: During the discovery of SCP-6799 under the supervision of Project Head Malcolm Bod, 27 Mobile Task Force members from multiple branches of Mobile Task Force Sigma-7 ("Curtain Call"), including Alpha-1, Bravo-1, Charlie-1, and Delta Force. Of the original 27 members, 23 members were terminated, and four survived, one critically injured. Only with the help of Mobile Task Force Titan-1 did they manage to contain SCP-6799 with long range artillery fire, after remaining operatives evacuated the area.
5th of April, 2021
SCP-6702: 45 instances of SCP-6702-2 breached containment at Checkpoint Bravo, massacring 1231 civilians of the town of Lafayette, and brought 34 civilians back into SCP-6702-1 to SCP-6702. The following two weeks were spent administering Class F amnestics to the town.
