Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5035 instances are stored in a 10 x 10 x 4 room, said room requires soundproof padding and must be reinforced. Any other materials that are part of the containment chamber must also go through soundproofing and reinforcement. If an SCP-5035 instance is being moved, it must be lured into a Size 4 soundproof containment cube with sustenance. SCP-5035 must be fed at least 10 kilograms of solid sustenance per month, as it has a slow metabolism. Soundproof earmuffs must be worn, along with Foundation-approved heavy kevlar armor while entering the containment chamber.

Upon discovery of SCP-5035 instances’ howls reaching terminal levels of sound. Thus, it is not safe as any openings will cause it to kill all personnel with terminal levels of sound. Sustenance must be delivered by a soundproof chute with multiple remotely controlled doors. The containment area must be and remain at 26°C, as SCP-5035 instances are ectothermic.

Description: SCP-5035 is a multi-instance mammal that appears to be the common mountain wolf upon first glance, however, the DNA samples taken from it anomalously return as that of Crotalus Atrox (diamondback rattlesnake), and also bear reptile-like characteristics, possessing fangs, similar behavior, and slow metabolism. SCP-5035 behavior matches that of most predatory organisms, and the cause of SCP-5035 killings are determined to be predatory instinct.

Despite appearing to be a mountain wolf, the snake genes seem to be more apparent, as it does not bear live offspring but produces eggs, instances also have venom in their “fangs”. In the event that SCP-5035 instances produce eggs, the instances must be removed and the eggs must either be disposed of or transferred to another location.

SCP-5035 instances are confirmed to have howls that range from 150-185 dB, causing either hearing loss or death. Venom from SCP-5035 instances is shown to be deadly, tests confirm the venom slows down muscle movement and reaction times from subjects. D-Class affected by venom have been shown to only live for up to 30 seconds.
