SCP 7727 is to be kept on the personal laptop of Dr [Redacted] Kilgore in Site 20, the laptop is not to be opened by anyone but Dr Kilgore and or Level 4 clearance personnel. The laptop is to be kept in a 40cm Laptop bag at all times, unless for personal use by Dr Kilgore or for testing. Any and all unauthorized personnel who attempt to open the laptop, hereby called “SCP-7727-PC1” is to be detained, amnesticized, and put to other uses. Due to its anomalous nature, SCP 7727 is not to be sent via email, or P2P sharing services. Dr Kilgore has specifically ordered that if anyone is to view SCP 7727 via a file opener such as VLC, [Redacted], and [Redacted]. Description:
SCP 7727 is a 2.10MB file MP3 labeled as “MKE82IQU_21” created at an unknown date and time. The file first appeared on Dr Kilgore’s personal computer on April 27th, 2019. It is unknown as of yet where the file was downloaded from, or if it was an unwanted program installed by another form of malware. SCP 7727’s effect on humans is as of yet still being tested upon, but from what has been seen and documented. SCP 7727 when heard by a test subject, will say that the file has no sound emitting from it, but a dull white noise type sound will play at a 167 hz. The test subject will then complain of seeing wounds and lacerations appearing on their body, when in reality no such wounds appear on the body, however the test subject cannot view the wounds unless it is out of their peripheral vision, the wounds have described as large gashes, melting flesh, and [Redacted]. Upon 12 minutes after hearing SCP the test subject will then attempt to show the wounds to any human or humanoid type creature in the area, sometimes even forcefully shoving it’s body part into the eyes of personnel. When this is done. 99.99% of the time personnel will go into a trance-like state where they do believe and see that the subject is injured, and enter a sympathetic paternal mode when the subject shows no obvious sign of injury to its person. The subject will then force the brainwashed victim into doing whatever it asks, objectives have included, but are not limited to.
-Asking to preform sex acts on the subject.
-Stealing documents and committing espionage against the foundation
-Telling the victim to spread the file to whomever it comes across
-Committing suicide
-Entering into Keter and Euclid class SCP containment cells
There is no way to reconvert the brainwashed subjects, now referred to as “SCP 7727-1” to a normal state, and the only known method is to kill the subject and incinerate the body. SCP-7727’s main subject “SCP-7727-ALPHA” is not immortal and is killable by non-anomalous means, such as firearms, bladed weapons, and fire.
Addendum-
SCP-7727 is Euclid because of it’s possible ability to be used by enemy combatants in war, there has already been reports of the file springing up in parts of war-torn Syria, and [Redacted]istan. Without proper containment and testing, SCP-7727 is believed it can be used by dictators and warlords to enslave a nation, therefore it is considered highly dangerous.
