Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4207 is kept at site ███████ in a standard containment room within a plexiglass inner room with a single plexiglass door. The inner room is exactly 14.3 metres long and 8.8 metres wide. Inside at the center of the inner the room is a small kitchen table with a single chair facing west. SCP-4207 is laid on the table in front of the chair in a manner typical for a single person dinner setting, minus any plates, bowls, cups or glasses. No other eating utensils or objects are to be taken inside the containment room.
A warning tape boarder on the floor exactly 2.4 metres all around the inner room is to be inspected and maintained by staff every day. This boarder designates SCP-4207's secondary anomalous area of effect.
A temperature between 293.15 K and 295.15 K is to be kept and monitored at all times. The temperature is to be adjusted to compensate for personnel entering the room during authorized examinations and experimentation in order to keep temperature within range. Any sudden fluctuation of the temperature outside of normal range is to be reported immediately and all living staff must be evacuated. Containment Specialists are to proceed with Procedure Happy Meal. Normal operations may resume after procedure has completed and temperature has returned within normal range.
Orders from Site Director ███████ Anyone attempting to breach containment without authorization are to be shot on sight. Anyone left behind during Procedure Happy Meal and are found within range of SCP-4207's anomalous area of effect are to be shot on sight before normal operations may resume.
Description: SCP-4207 was found at ███ █████ on ██/███/█████. It was found on a small table at the center of a really large square room inside an English style brick house. Each utensil is typical in size for children's eating utensils, each a different color with a smooth surface and blunt edges.
When within SCP-4207's secondary anomalous area of effect (15.17 metres by 9.54 metres), agents reported hearing a children's television theme song in a foreign language. All attempts to discover what language this is have failed and has been filed as unknown. While in proximity of hearing the theme song, agents have reported various feelings of:
- Intense nausea
- Anxiety
- Arousal
- Confusion
- Discomfort
- Pins and needles
- Mirth
- The "munchies"
Attempts to record the theme song using electronic devices have failed and only recordings of white noise were found on playback. When testing for radio waves, the results kept going from 29 kHz for an hour and 27 minutes, then 49 kHz for the duration of the subject's wakefulness (see below). SCP-4207's secondary anomalous effect has been filed as "safe until further notice".
When within SCP-4207's main anomalous area of effect, any living human will have intense feelings of needing to eat using these specific utensils. Subjects, which we will refer to as Eaters have been observed to exhibit child like joy once they've begun handling the utensils and asked for food typically eaten by American children, such as children's cereals, PB & J sandwiches (no crusts), ants on a log, mac and cheese with wieners, and other such items. Once the meal is provided, the Eater consumes the food and then falls into a slumber while still sitting in the chair. Any attempts to awaken the Eater have failed.
After waiting one hour and 27 minutes, the Eater (still in the chair) wakes up, grabs the utensils and demands food again. Food is provided and consumed and the Eater falls asleep again. Another hour and 27 minutes pass again and the Eater awakens. Experimentation with food quantity, quality and type have yielded no results of interest, even when food different to what was requested was given. The Eater is always happy before and during eating.
Dr. ██████ joined the examinations of SCP-4207 on ██ of █████, ████ and ordered that food not be given when requested. Thirty three minutes passed and
