Special Containment Procedures: Scp-5868 is to be kept in a standard storage area (8m*8m*8m) at site ████.The door is to have a standard non-electronic lock and patrolled by at least 2 guards, one armed with Scp-5868-1 and the other with a standard issue electric baton. Scp-5868 is to be checked on once every 12 hours, and be "fed". No cameras are to be placed in the containment chamber of Scp-5868 and no electronic devices are to be used within it's containment chamber.
Description: Scp-5868 is a liquid which on inspection seems to have properties similar to that of water. a sample has been taken of Scp-5868 and it had shown that it was made of 2 unknown elements hereby labelled Scp-5868-A and Scp-5868-B. It's atomic structure seems to be similar to that of water and in the same pattern too, being 2 times Scp-5868-A and one time Scp-5868-B. The anomalous properties of Scp-5868 are when it comes in contact with anything electronic or when it has not been "fed" for over 13 hours.
The feeding process of Scp-5868 is to occur once every 12 hours and "feeder" personnel are to be placed with 2 guards armed with standard issue electric batons and Scp-5868-1. The "feeder" should stay as far away from Scp-5868 as possible while still being able to feed it and at no point should the personnel come within half a meter of Scp-5868. If at any point the Feeder or guards come within half a meter of Scp-5868 it should be attacked with the electric baton, and then with Scp-5868-1. Feeding involves placing a dead animal in or within half a meter of Scp-5868.
When any creature comes within half a meter of Scp-5868, The liquid will violently lash out, grabbing the creature. It has been seen to be less likely to attack anything that has a mass of 100 kg or more.
Once it has made contact, Scp-5868 will slowly begin to corrode the flesh of the creature with 1-4 tentacles that proceed to drip more Scp-5868. If the creature consumed is less than 10 kg in weight Scp-5868 will not gain any mass. However if it is 10 kg or more, it will gain mass at double the amount consumed
