Item #: SCP 3458

Object Class: Keter

Special Containment Procedures: SCP 3458 Shall be locked in a 50 x 50 kilometers in diameter area and heavily guarded by five mobile task force officers 24/7. If any scientist below a major researcher enters containment they must be executed immediately unless orders from the 05 council reject.

Description: SCP 3458 is what seems to be the shadow of a 14th century witch. Anything touched by SCP 3458 will turn into a shadow itself and disappear within the span of a week. These instances are known as 3458-01. It has glowing red eyes and a foggy shadow-like robe that looks as if it has been chemically eroding.

Interview log 001: Start

"What are you?" Major Researcher Seth Williams asks.

"No, no no no no no…" 3458 mumbles.

"This is not a game!" Williams slams the table.

3458 looks Williams into the windows of his soul.

"You will not get in the way of the chosen one.
Never again." She taps Researcher Williams on the shoulder.

"Who is the chosen o-" (unintelligible). Williams fades into a foggy figure with little to no facial details.

Interview log 001: End

Researcher Williams was heavily monitored for approximately 7 days until disappearance. 3458 is very useful when it comes to termination testing because of this reason.

Termination testing 01: SCP 682
SCP 3458 looked the reptilian-like creature in its eyes, and mumbled: "Nothing gets in the way of the chosen one… Not even a disgusting creature like you." 682 was then ordered to terminate 3458. 682 excretes a slippery substance out of its scales (most likely so that 3458 could touch 682 without actually touching 682's scales, but touching the substance instead.)
It then snarls while slowly approaching the witch. It suddenly charges 3458, mouth wide open, snarling. It rips off the witches left arm, and goes for the right arm, but the witch saw this coming, she quickly taps 682 on the top of its head, but only the substance turned to shadows.

She then grabs the lizard by the hairs on its neck, flips it upside down, opens its mouth wide open, and taps its uvula. A recorded 74% of 682 turns to shadow.
