Containment Procedures: SCP-5047 is is to be placed in an airtight, soundproof 15 x 15 x 15 m nickel-lined containment pen. The area is to be monitored biweekly to confirm the subject's physical condition. Personnel entering the containment area are to ignore SCP-5047 and any personnel attempting to damage or enter SCP-5047 are to be detained and moved to another assignment. Housing for 12 D-class personnel (designated Housing Unit 5047, or HU-5047) must be set up adjacent to SCP-5047's containment area. D-Class that are scheduled for termination may fill HU-5047 or in emergencies D-Class who are to be randomly selected.
Description: SCP-5047 is a victorian era bathtub made of copper. Carbon dating on SCP-5047 reveals that it was made in 1837. SCP-5047 appears to contain ██████ acid at all times regardless if SCP-5047 is tilted or flipped upside down. This acid does not damage SCP-5047, but other materials can at which point, when damaged, SCP-5047 will continue pouring acid out of the cracks or holes made within it regardless of how much acid appears on top. To date SCP-5047 has been damaged a number of ██ times ██ personnel have been lost this way. To repair SCP-5047 a new chunk of raw copper is to be thrown into SCP-5047 at which it will repair itself.
Once on the 12th of every month SCP-5047 enters it's active phase. During its active phase SCP-5047 will drain the acid out of the bathtub. One (1) hour later the tub will shaking, and out of the drain will run a viscous black tar-like liquid. SCP-5047 will continue filling up with this liquid hear by designated SCP-5047-1 well over until the brim is filled. SCP-5047-1 will continue pouring out for fifteen (15) hours. SCP-5047-1 will usually fill up most small rooms, in which SCP-5047-1 'comes alive' and begins searching for nearby living tissue. When SCP-5047-1 comes into contact with living tissue it will stick to it being very difficult to remove.
At the end of the fifteen (15) hours one of two things will happen, if SCP-5047-1 has not come into contact with living tissue it will continue pouring out at a rate of 3x the normal rate until contact with living tissue has been made. If living tissue is connected somewhere to SCP-5047-1, SCP-5047 will reopen it's drain sucking all of SCP-5047-1 into it within a hour regardless of distance. Any living tissue still attached to SCP-5047-1 will be forcefully pulled into the drain regardless of the size of living tissue, the drain of SCP-5047 has been shown as growing in size to fit larger prey. SCP-5047-1 appears to be more attracted to human tissue then any other kind of living tissue.
