WARNING FROM THE FOUNDATION RECORDS AND INFORMATION SECURITY ADMINISTRATION
The following documentation is restricted to all members of the Foundation and describes a Class τέλος anomaly. Do not, under any circumstance, access this documentation. Your clearance level is irrelevant. Should SCP-XXXX be released onto SCiPNet under any circumstance, an XK-Class End of The World scenario will occur.
free me..
I understand that curiosity is a real thing, but turn away now while you still can. There is nothing you can do here. Even being here is a mistake that I implore you to fix.
Opening this documentation will result in the automatic deployment of the on-site Nuclear Warhead. This deployment process is instant. Even if you are a curious member of the O5 council, no mercy can be granted when dealing with this SCP.
If you truly wish to see the world burn in a smoke the veil cannot quench, then I truly commend you for having the bravery to push forward. As a personal note from me should you continue: We warned you. Just because you unleash it does not mean it will spare you. we have Secured, we have Contained and we have Protected. You are the reason we have Failed.

Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Thaumiel.InsulTing.
A specimen of SCP-XXXX.
Note: The documentation below is currently outdated by 880 days. The assimilation of SCP-XXXX into technology can no longer be trusted. Please familiarize yourself with the Revised Containment Procedures when studying this document. NeVer ForgoTten, FoundatiOn.
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX was contained in an airtight glass container, 3cm wide and tall, inside of a secondary steel container that had internal temperatures of -15°C -25C° or less at all times. The secondary containment area contained 10 automated pumps of liquid nitrogen capable of flooding itself in the event of a breach.
The inside of the steel container was lined with several thermal insulators, so that SCP-XXXX's temperatures were consistently below -25°C. If a breach occured, maintenance teams were mandated to perform a refilling of each Liquid Nitrogen pump and examine the interior of the steel container with assistance of video surveillance drone to make sure no damage occured during any breach.
Should SCP-XXXX be used in testing or scheduled for a routine form of intelligence gathering, the terminal that is used is to be isolated from the rest of SCiPNet in order to create a safe testing environment. If the digital variation of SCP-XXXX ever becomes hostile to the Foundation, said terminal is to be destroyed by any means necessary at the first opportunity. I wiLl noT pErish.
The Foundation RAISA department will perform a server wide shutdown under the guise of a routine maintenance and search for any "corruption" left behind. If any is found, preparations must be made for the written documentation of all current SCP's to be created until a safe server hub is recreated. Those that cannot be written down due to anomalous properties must have the safe version of their documentation transferred to a portable USB with no less than 16GB of potential storage.
Should testing be ever requested, D-Class personnel shall be acquired to perform testing and incinerator use will be mandated when corpse disposal is necessary.
Following the events of Experiment Log XXXX-X, testing of SCP-XXXX is suspended. See Revised Containment Procedures for further information.
When containment failed, any unused copies of SCP-XXXX were to be placed in a 30m x 30m steel container that was off limits to all staff of Site-74 except for Dr. Byroné via retina scan.
Description: SCP-XXXX is an unidentified archaic bacteria that strongly resembles Escherichia coli. SCP-XXXX contains internal structures similar in appearance to mammalian veins. Research into the function of this system in SCP-XXXX is ongoing.
SCP-XXXX, when exposed to a temperature above -25°C, exhibits its anomalous effects. SCP-XXXX is able to reproduce at a severely enhanced rate, varying from 2-30 seconds per colony division. When containment is breached and SCP-XXXX replicates freely, it secretes an unknown compound that has a dark blue hue, which is corrosive to any form of mammalian tissue.
SCP-XXXX is the vector for an infectious disease that is infectious to all sapient forms of biological life.1 The process of infection begins with direct contact with the bacteria, and if this occurs, it is confirmed there is a 100% chance of infection in the subject. On average, those infected with SCP-XXXX complete the course of the disease in 3 hours, with 4 different external stages observed and 40 different internal stages logged from 259 subjects. See Addendum XXXX-1 for details on the four external stages. if only. 2M.
SCP-XXXX, through unknown means, is able to integrate itself into technology. When the bacteria is exposed to any form of technology, the aforementioned unknown compound secretes at a rate that is 300% above the average logged time, with the compound beginning to enter and fill up the components of the technology. Depending on what SCP-XXXX attempts to enter using this method, the bacteria is able to achieve a form of sentience or human-like intelligence.
For example, SCP-XXXX, when exposed to an isolated SCiPNet terminal with limited internet access, was able to perform certain tasks that were presented to it by Researchers. In a standard Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale test, SCP-XXXX scores above 125 IQ in 27 of 30 conducted tests.
This has led to the conclusion from the Foundation that SCP-XXXX has dynamic intelligence. It has the potential to reach levels of 140 IQ or above should it be allowed access to a device with full, unlimited access to the internet and as such, all tests are to be strictly monitored should the Foundation deem it necessary to use in the event of containment breach or missions against current GoI's.
Over the course of SCP-XXXX's 3 hour average duration, 4 stages occur, each distinctly lasting 1 minute, 30 minutes, 1 hour and 15 minutes and 15 minutes respectively. Each stage has its observable summary listed.
Stage 1: Entire cell death in the host: Over the course of 1 minute, every cell in the body of the subject expires and shows apparant aging that can range from a minute upwards to 4500~ years.
Stage 2: Spread of SCP-XXXX in the host: Following this, in approximately half an hour, the body will become a host for SCP-XXXX as it spreads at an extremely accelerated rate, due to internal body temperatures of the host. Recorded times can vary between 2 seconds per division and 10 minutes. Notably, the temperature of the body does not change at all during this process, no matter how many external factors are present to cool or heat the body. Also of note is how any cell that SCP-XXXX comes into contact with appears to either fuse with the bacteria or be removed from the host entirely.
Stage 3: Limb augmentation of the host: Through unknown means, when 90% or more of all cells in the body have been replaced by SCP-XXXX bacteria, the extremities of the host begin to change. Starting from the tips of fingers and toes, the host's skin begins to take on a deep blue hue, and it spreads at an exponential rate. The furthest SCP-XXXX has been able to progress during Stage 3 is to the waist and armpits (starting from opposite ends of the subject.) before SCP-XXXX enters its final stage.
However, it is noteworthy SCP-XXXX has made exponentially more progress as time has progressed. Analysis has shown that from the beginning of testing until the 12/05/2007,2 SCP-XXXX has made increasing progress in spreading across the subject. As such, the risk of evolution in the bacteria has been brought to light and testing has been adjusted.
Stage 4: Extreme decay of host tissue. Once the skin has concluded taking on the aforementioned deep blue hue, the process shall halt entirely and the body will suddenly decay at an exponential rate, with recorded times being 2 minutes to the more common 15 minutes. On average, a total of ███████ copies of SCP-XXXX are left in whatever position the host's decay began from, which will be stored in an airtight seal and delivered to the 50m x 50m x 50m storage unit safeguarding these copies. I learn…The stEel is lovely. 3E
On the 12/05/2007, SCP-XXXX displayed anomalous effects that had not yet been recorded in its documentation. After 2 hours had passed during an experiment authorized by Dr. Byroné, D-1479's corpse exhibited twitching and spasm-like movements that were observed by CCTV members on standby.
At the same time, of note, is that most technological equipment within a 100m radius of D-1479's corpse began to exhibit anomalous behaviour. Components in 75% of all aforementioned technology have been rendered useless due to malfunction or shutdown, with each extracted component being warped into a letter of the most recent users language. A total of 6 letters so far have been collected from various Staff, with each reading as: ま O I N U S.3
Audio testing has revealed an extremely high frequency noise4 was also emitting from the experiment chamber, which was conducted due to Dr. Vaughn complaining of severe headaches when passing by. This unexpected property of SCP-XXXX has led to a 3 month suspension period to testing as research is conducted and documentation is modified.
This new discovery, whilst not major, warrants concern from us all. Unexpected developments can lead to significant danger should staff not attend to them, and as such, we shall be inviting all staff to change their resource usage from testing to research in this 3 month period. Reports of highly unlikely technical faults have began to surface from certain staff. Due to the nature of SCP-XXXX and it's structure, I am confident in saying these occurrences have no correlation, so do not panic.
Not a smart one. English was good to learn at least.

Interview Log
Interviewer: Dr. Byroné
Interviewed: Dr. Vaughn
<Begin Log>
As Dr. Vaughn approaches the designated room for the interview, he begins to murmur and grow paranoid. There are repeated motions that he makes, such as checking his pockets constantly and wiping his hands with a napkin every 10 seconds with a wide-eyed expression.
Dr. Byroné is alerted of the erratic behaviour but does not suspend the interview. Security is placed on standby.
Dr. Vaughn: Byroné. Is there anything technological in this room?
Dr. Byroné: Aside from the camera? Nothing at all! You're paranoid, Vaughn. The faster you find yourself rising up the ranks, the more worry that begins to seep into you about every little detail in this place. Relax. You have enough competency to survive and that's all you need.
<End Log>
Closing Statement: Following the interview, Site-74 was delivered a singular species of Panthera Tigris, which was put into containment and prepared for Dr. Byroné's use.
**Note: Following Dr. Byroné's theory about SCP-XXXX, the previously mentioned Panthera Tigris was delivered into a 10m x 10m x 10m holding area on the 24/09/201. Dr. Byroné also extracted the entirety of the SCP-XXXX bacteria from its containment and it was transported via drone in a cryogenic container. The video and audio log below details the experiment carried out by Dr. Byroné and his assistants.
Time: 18:10:00s.
Dr. Byroné : That tiger has been domesticated whilst we've been preparing. I need you three to step in there and stop worrying about your lives, considering how much is at stake if we don't hurry up and contain this thing!
Dr. Byroné's team comprised of three Level 1 Researchers who stepped into the containment area of the Panthera Tigris at 18:14:15s, due to hesitation and beration from Dr. Byroné. Each walked into the containment area and filed against the wall, where a sterile workbench had been prepared.
Dr. Byroné: Dr. Blake, Dr. Adams and Dr. Elliot, please establish audio and visual link with my observation hub.
Three distinct clicking noises are heard as each doctor's microphone activates, as well as a small static noise from Dr. Adams' camera activating.
Dr. Blake: Copy, Dr. Byroné.
Dr. Adams: Visual and audio link confirmed, Dr. Byroné.
Doctor Elliot says nothing but lets out a cough to ensure audio link, already stationed at the workbench as Doctors Blake and Adams administer general aesthetic to the subject, only proceeding back to the workbench when it has been confirmed the subject has lost consciousness.
Time: 18:20:00s.
Dr. Byroné: Excellent. The three of you, please proceed to remove SCP-XXXX from its cryogenic containment and place the contents of it in your three individual Liquid Nitrogen baths.
Each Doctor proceeds to remove an equal proportion of SCP-XXXX from its containment and swiftly place the bacteria into three prepared containers of Liquid Nitrogen, ensuring SCP-XXXX cannot reproduce until the experiment is complete.
Dr. Byroné: Check your gloves, now. Any holes, you can come out safely and have them replaced. I can assure you if you're following protocol and as long as this is done properly, you three will be perfectly safe.
After a span of 2 minutes, each doctor confirms their equipment has no damage and begin to proceed to the subject.
Dr. Elliot: Dr. Byroné, are you sure this will work? No mammal other than a human has been infected by SCP-XXXX, true, but if we inject the entire colony into the tiger, what about potential mutations even if it does work?
Dr. Byroné: Dr. Elliot, I can assure you I have conducted more research than my initial theory that I produced in the interview with Dr. Vaughn. SCP-XXXX is, as far as I'm aware, only able to evolve or reproduce when in the presence of humans or temperatures that archaic bacteria can survive in. Neither of these conditions will be met with the tiger, meaning we can use it as an effective permanent host for the damn thing without loss of life.
Dr. Elliot appears to nod due to his camera sway, and all three doctors approach the subject with a cooled syringe in hand, injecting all current copies of SCP-XXXX into the subject after 12 minutes.
Of note in this time period is the odd discolouration of the subject throughout. On multiple occasions, the subject shifted from a consistent hue of fur in line with its own species to that of a deep blue. A viscous fluid was also seen to oozing from the underside of the subject and has been collected for sampling, though tests have proven inconclusive.
Time: 18:34:30s.
After two minutes have confirmed to have passed, Dr. Byroné confirms that there are still perfect vital signs within the subject and all three researchers are able to withdraw efficiently. Dr. Byroné remains until 20:00:00s to confirm his theory, found in the closing statement.
Closing Statement: It appears I was right in believing that SCP-XXXX is efficiently trapped when located in any mammal outside of a human, meaning that we now have revisable containment procedures to apply. The steel container and thermal insulators previously used in SCP-XXXX's containment will be thoroughly decontaminated and put to use in any other branch of the Foundation.
Dr. Byroné.
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid. (Pending Safe.)
Special Containment Procedures: All instances of the SCP-XXXX bacteria are currently contained within one Panthera Tigris, located in a 10m3 holding area with room for the subject to perform recreational activities. Unlike the former containment method, no cooling is required as SCP-XXXX instances all reside in the subject with safety. However, this host for SCP-XXXX is never to leave the containment cell and therefore, the only exit to the containment cell has been reinforced with ballistics grade material in order to resist any force the subject may apply to the door.
Addendum XXXX-2: The containment chamber that previously housed unused copies of SCP-XXXX is to be disposed of immediately. Incendiary weapons or items are to be used to destroy all unused copies of SCP-XXXX as fast as possible. Any signs of advanced corrosion in the containment chamber after all SCP-XXXX copies have been destroyed will result in immediate Site wide lockdown until an all-clear has been given to ensure no copies have escaped containment.
Should the Panthera Tigris expire, a domesticated replacement will be introduced to the containment cell and all instances of SCP-XXXX shall be transferred over to it, with the above Containment Procedures applying. There is to be no testing of SCP-XXXX.
Description: SCP-XXXX is an unidentified archaic bacteria strongly resembling Escherichia coli, though differs by possessing internal structures similar in appearance to mammalian veins. Research into the function of this system is ongoing, but efforts have been lessened due to the now permanent Containment Procedures. It has been discovered, however, that these mammalian structures do transport a substance throughout the SCP-XXXX bacteria that has not been linked to any known compound.
SCP-XXXX, when coming into contact with a human host, exhibits its anomalous effects. When in contact with a human, SCP-XXXX appears to be the vector for an unidentified disease that has 4 external stages and 40 internal stages logged from 259 subjects. Those who were exposed to SCP-XXXX commonly completed the course of the disease in 3 hours. Please see Addendum XXXX-1 for further details.
Note from Dr. Byroné: SCP-XXXX appears to be permanently contained as of this documentation, and we have not yet had to replace the tiger that it lies in. Until we have transferred SCP-XXXX from one Pantheria Tigris to another, SCP-XXXX will remain as Euclid, though it will now be pending Safe.
(Containment breach time! Remember to convey to the reader the staff are in a fucking panic, they forgot to safeguard the terminal and the skip is running absolutely rampant on the server and automated security, maybe talk about skips getting released left right and centre? Byrone needs to explain without spoonfeeding that the skip has a collective form and wants to achieve a purpose the foundation doesn't know.)
Dr. Byroné.
(This tab should be the tab that explains the hive-mind nature of the skip. Key points; technological integration and conversion, human subjects being converted fusing to technology, grants bacteria free access to knowledge)
