Special containment procedures: SCP-4237 is to be kept in a standard humanoid anomaly containment cell at Site-██. SCP-4237 is to be given three (3) full meals, continual water supply, and pain/stomach relief medicine daily; due to good behavior, SCP-4237 is to be allowed internet access¹, and any other requests within reason (see Addendum 1 for full list of requests). SCP-4237-A is to be pumped off-site to local landfills and standard garbage collection. Testing on SCP-4237-A’s termination is ongoing, and is to continue at request of SCP-4237 (see Addendum 2).

Description: SCP-4237 is an adult human male, formerly James ██████, twenty-three (23) years old and 1.64 meters tall (also referred to as ‘subject’). SCP-4237 is average in mental and physical capability, only being anomalous by association: subject periodically expulses SCP-4237-A every sixty-seven (67) minutes orally.

SCP-4237-A is a viscous fluid, dark in color with no sheen, of unknown origin and composition². SCP-4237-A has a pH level of 8.4, and is currently indestructible by all means (see Addendum 2 for complete log of termination attempts). SCP-4237-A appears anomalously into SCP-4237's digestive tract, which is immediately vomited. Expulsion of SCP-4237-A causes the subject pain and distress, claiming it “leaves a really, like, sour taste. More than puking normally”. Despite the pain of removing SCP-4237-A, no damage from alkaline properties has been experienced by SCP-4237. SCP-4237-A does not require consumption of normal foods, and does happen during unconsciousness (coma and sleep), under hypnotic and amnestic drugs, and ███████.

History of SCP-4237 and SCP-4237-A: SCP-4237 has apparently been affected by SCP-4237-A for the majority of, if not all, his life. Subject's parents did notice the anomaly, but did not report it to officials or medical authorities, instead claiming it to be “punishment from the gods”. After the parents did not educate SCP-4237 from home, public or private teachings, social workers arrived to relocate the subject. The social workers did notice the anomaly, taking him to a doctor, then a general surgeon. The Foundation was alerted via plainclothes agents posing as staff for the medical facility, stepping in to take SCP-4237 into custody of Site-██, where he is planned to reside until movement to Site-06-3, as per request of Level 4 Senior Researcher ██████████.

Addendum 1: the following is a complete list of the requests made by SCP-4___:
Continual supply of pain medication (granted).

• “A lot of books. I’ll need something to do” (granted; book selection is to be swapped every 3 months, or if all are finished.).
• Plainclothes to replace Foundation-given clothes (granted).
• Photo of SCP-4237's parents. Claimed “I know you have some pictures. You’re a super secret government organization. You gotta have them” (granted).
• Writing journal and several writing tools (granted).
• Diet change in an attempt to neutralize SCP-4237-A (granted³
• Surgical removal of stomach and intestines in an attempt to neutralize SCP-4237-A (denied).
• Access to own SCP file (denied).
• Permission to leave Foundation facility as civilian to “live somewhat normally” (pending).

Addendum 2: the following is a complete log of termination attempts on SCP-4237-A:

1. Procedure: placing SCP-4237-A in 80-gallon vat of hydrofluoric acid.
Result: SCP-4237-A sank to the bottom of the container; did not undergo chemical or physical changes.

2. Procedure: placing SCP-4237-A in industrial grade furnace (~four thousand five hundred (4500) degrees Celsius).
Result: SCP-4237-A appeared to transfer heat into higher pH, leaving a hole seven (7) inches in furnace.

3. Procedure: concentrated laser cutting applied to SCP-4237-A.
Results: results were similar to previous test; sample converted heat and light energy into alkalinity, leaving a hole eleven (11) inches on a steel plate.

4. Procedure: assistance from SCP-████⁴ to pressurize a sample until it changes form through physical/chemical means.
Results: SCP-4237-A was crushed with the force of an estimated nine hundred seventy five thousand (975000) PSI. Sample immediately dissolved 7 floors of Site-██, resulting in the termination of 2 anomalies. It is believed the sample is now located in the lower mantle of Earth, and is irretrievable.

Extended description: SCP-4237-B is an extremely large mechanical structure, roughly in the shape of an icosahedron, located in [REDACTED BY ORDER OF O5 COMMAND]. SCP-4237-B’s origin is unknown, and only the outer layers of the structure has been observed. The purpose, composition, and completion date of its activities (if any) are unknown. As a waste product (or because of the completed process), SCP-4237-A is created; the SCP-4237-A sample is anomalously transported into SCP-4237's digestive tract, acting as an export and waste removal system.
There is no current method to impede, slow, or destroy SCP-4237-B. Despite the fact of no defensive or offensive capabilities, no damage has been successfully inflicted upon SCP-4237-B (up to and including nuclear, experimental, thaumaturgic, and ███████████ weaponry). Under no circumstances are any personal, outside Groups of Interest, or civilians be allowed to attempt ███████████ again, with full force of onsite guards permitted to stop any attempts.
Inscribed into several of SCP-4237-B’s surface is writing, which changes at random intervals. The words appear in several languages, including English, Greek, Latin, Swedish, cognitohazardous phrases, various symbols associated with Fifthism, various symbols associated with Sarkicism, and various symbols associated with prehistoric writing (see Addendum 3 for full list of successful translations). The meaning of the phrases is unknown.

Addendum 4: notice from O5-7

SCP-4237-B is unknown to SCP-4237, and is presumed to not be responsible for its existence. Termination of any of the collective SCP-4237 instances is impossible. Sure, the report says we didn’t pull open his stomach, but we are the Foundation. The researchers tried to get part of the intestines out, but it brought along a percentage of -A every 67 minutes. Even if we killed him, burned his corpse, or anything else, it won’t be stopped.
Our best guess gives us about ███ years left until the world's prying eyes find us dumping SCP-4237-A. Plenty of time to be wiped out by something else, so no pressure.
