Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-XXXX is to be stored in locker 103 at Site-██ along with the following items:
- 1 sq foot of purple cloth sewed together by hand using a copper needle
- 1 leather-bound book dyed purple
- 1 small capsule of purple paint sealed in resin
Locker 103's lock should be changed every 30 days to avoid any personnel stealing SCP-XXXX. Any subjects that use SCP-XXXX without Level 2 clearance or higher should be tracked and detained, and SCP-XXXX-1 should be found and searched along with the recovery of object SCP-XXXX.
It is vital to store at least 1 2 of these items with the object while not in testing or radio communication could be cut off.
Description:
SCP-XXXX is a standard gold plated compass which displays all cardinal directions. Upon first glance the compass looks normal, but when 'activated' will display the direction of any landmark the subject thinks of, along with the subject's distance from the landmark(SCP-XXXX-1) in meters.
If the subject is in a vehicle going the wrong direction of SCP-XXXX-1 the object seems to shift the vehicle to be going the most direct path despite roads or terrain. Any purple colored item will 'disable' the object, preferably each item different textures, and shades of purple. It is currently unknown how to activate SCP-XXXX, but as of current testing it seems to only be activated by non-foundation personnel.
