Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be locked in a glass cylinder with a diameter of one meter and a height of two meters. The glass cylinder is to be in a titanium plated room with the dimensions of 20 m in length, 10 m in width, and 10 m in height. There also must be a five meter gap between the door, this includes the ledge along the same wall as the door, and SCP-XXXX's current location. There must also be scrap metal near SCP-XXXX or it can get very dangerous. At all times there must be five personnel near SCP-XXXX's containment room. Three of them must be armed. The armed personnel are to be ready to go into the containment room at all times. If any personnel is injured while in the containment area, they are to be terminated and the room is to be flooded with water. To get permission to test with SCP-XXXX, you need level 3 security clearance.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a black orb made of mist, and can create creatures known as SCP-XXXX-1. SCP-XXXX-1 create a machine around their master, SCP-XXXX, and once the machine is complete then their master can create about 25 SCP-XXXX-1 a day, while without the machine it can only create about four a day. SCP-XXXX-1 is extremely infectious and if it injures anyone, they shortly become SCP-XXXX-2.
SCP-XXXX-1 is a humanoid like machine made of steel plates and filled with endlessly moving gears. We still don't know how it is able to infect others, but all we know is that even the slightest scrape can cause someone to become SCP-XXXX-2. SCP-XXXX-2 looks exactly the same as the person who was infected, but the segment that the injury was on is entirely copper. If it was scratched on the left forearm, the entire left forearm becomes copper, stopping at the wrist and elbow.
SCP-XXXX-2 is extremely fast and extremely dangerous, and needs to be terminated on sight. No testing is allowed on SCP-XXXX-2, ever. SCP-XXXX-2 should never be restrained, because once it is restrained it leaks acid on the copper area and then wires come out, restraining all people in a two meter circle. The people who are restrained are slowly infected and eventually become SCP-XXXX-2, but leave the restrained one left to die.
SCP-XXXX-1 requires nothing to continue it's life, but SCP-XXXX-2 requires everything the infected individual needs to live. This makes it easier to test with SCP-XXXX-1 because it can be separated from SCP-XXXX and then it would shut down like it is sleeping. After 1 hour of not being in contact with SCP-XXXX it then reboots and goes on a rampage, infecting all it sees.
If SCP-XXXX is attempted to be touched by any creature, the creature passes out then gets attacked by all SCP-XXXX-1 in sight. SCP-XXXX-1 is apparently very vulnerable to lead bullets. But SCP-XXXX-2, unlike what you would think, is immune to lead poisoning and is very hard to kill. It can be melted with any molten metal, but throwing molten copper on it kills it the fastest.

Dr. ████: So, lets get to testing SCP-XXXX-2. We have been authorized to, so lets get a Class D in there.
About 20 minutes later
Dr. ████: Ok D-50791, We are going to lower you through the hidden roof hatch, and you are to try and hit one of them.
D-50791: Do I have too? This seems very dangerous.
Dr. ████: You have nothing to worry about, you should be fine.
D-50791: If you say so…
The class D was infected then quickly restrained about 5 minutes.
Dr. ████: Make sure you keep your eyes on SCP-XXXX-2, if you aim your gun away you will be removed immediately.
Agent ████: I understand Dr. ████, but I…
Agent ████: I smell something burning.
Dr. ████ looks over and sees wires coming out of SCP-XXXX-2's leg.
Dr. ████: Shoot him!
By the time the Doctor gave the order to shoot, everyone had been restrained.
Agent ████: It just bit me!
Dr. ████: It just bit me too!
While all this was going on, Agent ████ walked in, saw what was going on, and terminated everyone.

Closing Statement: Nobody should ever test with SCP-XXXX-2 ever again. Maybe we could cure them instead of having to slaughter everyone who gets infected.
SCP-XXXX-1 Communication, Trial 1 05/24/20██

Dr. █████: Hello SCP-XXXX-1, could you answer a couple of questions for me?
SCP-XXXX-1: Sure, it's not like you tied me to a chair or anything.
Dr. █████: Ok, I want to know more about your so called master.
SCP-XXXX-1: That is easy, he just wants to be free and wants to go home.
Dr. █████: Home? Where is his home?
SCP-XXXX-1: He won't tell us, he just tells us that he needs a machine to make a lot of us. Roughly 5000 of us are needed for the next step, but you guys keep terminating us before we can get to step 3.
Dr. █████: We let you get to step 2, but for you guys to get to step 3 you have to leave the facility. We can't trust you guys outside of the facility.
SCP-XXXX-1: How about this, I can tell you how to communicate directly with my master. But in me doing so I will die shortly after giving you the information.
Dr. █████: Ok, tell us how.
SCP-XXXX-1: You need to get about 5 of us, once you have 5 of us you need to plug us all into a single screen and then the message will…
SCP-XXXX-1 died in the middle of his sentence.
Dr. █████: Well, there goes out chance. We will try to communicate with SCP-XXXX in about a week.

Closing Statement: We are a step closer to finding out SCP-XXXX's plan. Once we do we can find out how to stop this. But what was he saying when he died? What will the message do?

Dr. █████: Are all 5 of them hooked up?
Dr. ████: Yes, and the screen is already on.
Dr. █████: Good, now we wait.
Roughly 3 hours later.
Screen: Time to try to get out of here. Start building a bridge to try to get across that stupid gap that you guys keep falling into.
Dr. █████: It worked! Lets try to communicate with it directly.
Dr. ████: SCP-XXXX can you hear us?
Screen: Those pests are talking to me again, what a pain.
Dr. ████: We can see what your saying.
Screen: Well, what do you want then?
Dr. ████: We want to know more about you.
Screen: Like what?
Dr. ████: We want to know where you came from, and what are you.
Screen: I come from [REDACTED], I was thrown from the ship I was on after some of you guys tried to take me from my home. I am also known as a [REDACTED]. We are highly intelligent beings of power, and each of us can make unique creatures. I just happen to make them out of metal.
Dr. ████: Ok. Could you tell us what step 3 of your plan is?
Screen: It is to make a ship and get off this planet to go home, and once I get home I will come back with a greater army and take this planet over.
Dr. ████: Ok then…
Dr. █████: One last thing before you terminate your machines, since it is happening soon. Can you tell us how to cure SCP-XXXX-2? Or is it impossible. If we could find out we wouldn't need to keep killing our own people.

Closing Statement: We know the plan, but we were so close to finding out how to cure them. I have been removed from all future testing teams with SCP-XXXX because of wanting to know how to cure SCP-XXXX-2. I just hope that someone finds out eventually.
