Special Containment Procedures: SCP-3XXX is to be contained in a $2*2*2$ft mirror box with a bright light shining inside the box to prevent replication. No unauthorized personnel are permitted to remove SCP-3XXX from the containment chamber. Keter class SCP objects are not to enter proximity of SCP-3XXX unless under surveillance of level 5 personnel. All other tests performed that involve SCP-3XXX require supervision by level 4 personnel.
In case of breach, all ongoing SCP experiments are to be put on hold and the holding facility is to be put under strict lockdown until SCP-3XXX has been contained. SCP-3XXX’s abilities can be nullified with any light source that emits above 1500 lumens.
Description: SCP-3XXX’s idle state is what can only be described as a pulsating black mass of shapes. When in an active state, it opens in eye that has 3 pupils surrounded each by a red iris. When in an active state, it will move around by rolling its amorphous body. It expresses a curious behavior, anything object or organism placed in it’s line of sight will attract its immediate attention. As it circles it’s point of interest, it will gradually change shape and color until it becomes an exact replica of said object or organism.
SCP-3XXX has been monitored to replicate other SCPs that it comes in contact with. The one difference from the replication and the original is that SCP-3XXX will always have an open eye located somewhere on the body of the object. SCP-3XXX does NOT seem to be able to replicate anything that is in a liquid or a gaseous state.
