Special Containment Procedures: SCP-xxxx should be kept in a cylindrical glass case within a pure white room to reflect the constant 20,000 lux being released into the room so as to dull SCP-xxxx's shadow flames. Each light is hooked up to a different power source to avoid all lights going out at once, because even a flicker of light is enough time for it to escape out of the glass cylinder, releasing the SCP. The room is 15 feet in diameter because the SCP cannot travel farther than 5 feet which means it would have to have multiple flickers to escape.

Description: SCP-xxxx is an orb made of a vantablack substance that has vantablack flames around it. SCP-xxxx's orb is 8 inches in diameter. SCP-xxxx is usually found in long corridors floating 4 feet above the ground and once approached will descend to the floor and dissipate appearing farther down the corridor. Each time this happens the follower gains a sense of curiousness that compels them to follow it down the corridor. After a while the follower will snap out of the trance which the follower will only recall following it for a few minutes but have in fact been following it for an extent of time, the longest being a day. SCP-xxxx prospers most in darker places and can have a longer trance. This SCP can mesmerize anything from animals, to humans, to other SCPs. Its effectiveness doesn't end. People that have come in contact with the SCP have after asked if they are able to be subject to the SCP again.
