Shadowdragon409 - Schrodinger's Cat

Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: SCP - XXXX is to be contained in a room no smaller than 3m in any direction. SCP - XXXX must be checked on to ensure the subject is not dead for lengthy periods of time. Access to SCP - XXXX is limited to Level 1 personnel or higher.

Description: SCP - XXXX is a male Felis Catus, or common house cat. The coat appears to be a solid black. SCP - XXXX behaves like any other house cat.

Upon observation of SCP - XXXX, the entity has a ██% chance of appearing alive or dead. Despite having died repeatedly since capture, the entity appears to be physically healthy. Upon death, the entity will collapse to the ground and decompose as one would expect. Upon revival, the entity will rise from the ground and continue whatever it was doing, as if it had only fallen over.

If left unobserved, the entity will hold its state of existence since last observation. Should multiple people observe SCP - XXXX at the same time, the entity will hold its previous state until unobserved again, in which it will be given the chance to change. Observation through visual recording equipment does not affect the entity's anomalous properties. However, it should be noted that any recordings or pictures taken of SCP - XXXX will hold the real time state of the entity, despite whichever state it was captured in.
