Special Containment Procedures: [Containing SCP-5118 involves sending D-class personnel through all doors in all SCP facilities until 1 does does not return. The door belonging to the missing D-class will then be locked and blocked off.]
Discovery[Discovery of SCP-5118 was the result of intercepting a 911 call from a woman in REDACTED claiming her husband disappeared before her eyes after walking through a door that appeared in their house. The foundation sent a group of researchers from facility REDACTED to investigate. When one of the researchers also went missing after entering the door, the foundation deemed the anomaly uncontainable, burned the house down with napalm, and killed relocated the woman. one month after this incident a new door appeared at SCP facility REDACTED. Foundation staff sent a D-class into the door and sure enough, they did not return.
Description: [SCP-5118 is an entity that can take the form of any door, anywhere, once a month, for a month. the door will change its appearance to fit the location it is currently in. there is currently no way to stop the door from moving to a new location. the door appears to favor SCP-facilities, suggesting potential sentience. When the door is open all that can be seen is a seemingly endless void. entering the door seems to place people into a random location at a random point in time, shortly after which, they will die.
Only D-class personnel may enter SCP-5118 given the aforementioned disappearing.
Cameras attached to those who enter SCP-5118 do not pick up anything but the void that can be seen from outside of it although, the microphone on said camera can pick up audio from the personnel attached to it.
Everyone who enters SCP-5118 seems to describe something different based on their age and history. Younger people seem to describe more innocent and familiar locations while, older people seem to end up in what can only be described as the future or in more dangerous and unfamiliar locations.
Addendum: 05 clearance for testing of SCP-5118 has been granted, begin testing immediately.
No fewer than 3 researchers are permitted to test SCP-5118 at a time, with at least as many guards accompanying them.
ITEM#:SCP-5118-2
Description: SCP-5118-2 is the only known survivor of SCP-5118. Approximately years old, SCP-5118-2 is a D-class personnel who entered SCP-5118 with a rope tide around them and camera attached to them. Upon entering 5118 they described seeing "nothing but a void". a few moments passed and then Foundation personnel holding the rope noticed it lose tension and then give slack. The live camera feed that was being monitored by foundation researchers then went dead.
About a minute later researchers debated closing the door until they could do another test. Another ten seconds pass and the D-class came back through the door but much older, they described what they saw as being "the end of the universe". The D-class has since been unresponsive and otherwise catatonic but will eat and sleep willingly.
Addendum: request for viability of SCP-5118 to be used as a form of "time travel" has been sent to the 05 council.
