Special Containment Procedures: Any people claiming to have seen SCP-XXXX should be administered Class-A amnestics. Undercover Foundation personnel are positioned within the range of SCP-XXXX's manifestations. Should they encounter SCP-XXXX, they should immediately attempt to tranquilize it and secure it for containment. All previous attempts have failed due to its anomalous ability.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a humanoid claiming to be a door-to-door salesman working for the Half-Off Store(despite no such store existing in the area).
SCP-XXXX manifests in front of houses in ██████, Massachusetts. SCP-XXXX will then knock on the door until the resident opens it. It will then manifest and attempt to sell a variety of objects at half price. It has been observed to manifest items ranging from a piano, a toaster, a hydrogen atom, and many other items. Should the person purchase one of the items, SCP-XXXX will cut it in half with its bare hand. SCP-XXXX has been observed cutting through steel and other durable metals with ease and no damage to its hand.

Foreword: SCP-XXXX manifested in front of Dr. ████'s house. Recognizing SCP-XXXX, Dr. ████ decided to use this as an opportunity to test its abilities.Begin Log I-XXXX-1
SCP-XXXX: Are you tired of payin' full price for things?!
Dr. ████: Excuse me?
SCP-XXXX: I'm Half-Off Bob from the Half-Off Store-
Dr. ████: I assume you're trying to sell me something? I doubt you have anything I could need or afford
SCP-XXXX: I can already tell ya price ain't no issue! You know why?! 'Cause I'll cut it in half!
Dr. ████: That sounds like quite the deal then. What are you selling?
SCP-XXXX: I got this here hydrogen atom for $!0! That too expensive?! I'll cut that price in half!
Dr. ████: Well then, I guess I'll take it.
SCP-XXXX: CUT IT IN HALF!END LOG
Closing Statement: SCP-XXXX then proceeded to cut the hydrogen atom in half. Fortunately, the conditions necessary to cause a chain reaction were not present. SCP-XXXX then demanifested.
