Item#: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX-A along with SCP-XXXX-B are to be stored inside anomalous item storage units in Sector B storage at Site-23. Any request for testing of SCP-XXXX-A paired with SCP-XXXX-B must be done or authorized by level 3 or higher personnel.

Description: SCP-XXXX-A and SCP-XXXX-B refer to a pair of necklaces dating back to the late 2000's. Both SCP-XXXX-A and SCP-XXXX-B appear to be correlated to neckales worn by individuals in a loving relationship. Both anomalous having a heart spaced piece of their center that directly connects to the other's. SCP-XXXX-A and SCP-XXXX-B are identical in shape and size, but differ in color. With SCP-XXXX-A having a red coloration whilst SCP-XXXX-B has a green coloration.

The anomalous traits of both items manifest once two human individuals wear one of each anomaly, at which point both individuals will be 'connected'. Any pain experienced by one individual will seemingly be felt by the other if both wear one piece of the necklace. This effected can be canceled by one of the individual's removing the necklace from their neck. Testing as shown that this 'connection' effect does not apply to other creatures, but does similarly work with any humanoid creature.

Addendum: On 2/11/2017 a cardboard package designated for a level 4 clearance personnel "Bryan Admterdine" arrived at Site-23. Although it was promptly delivered to Bryan was once discovered he had claimed to never order such a package, and that the sender had the same name as his deceased wife.

Due to speculation of the package it was physically shaken and inspected before opening to reveal its contents. In it were both SCP-XXXX-A, SCP-XXXX-B, and a handwritten note with the following message:

"I truly did know how difficult the hardships were. I know I took you for granted, but I did not want you to bare the pain. I wanted to share it."

Following Incident#8383 the anomalous traits of SCP-XXXX-A and SCP-XXXX-B were discovered, which quickly lead to their containment.
