Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept under close watch by the SCPSS "NOVA"'s crew,and to have MTF Tau-21 "Nova Star" on standby for any unusual activities or radio signals coming from SCP-XXXX.Any and all forms of attack are to be neutralized and taken back to SCPSS "NOVA" for study.No other methods have yet been adopted to neutralize SCP-XXXX in case of a hostile outbreak.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a large seemingly harmless so far space station in orbit around Earth.Discovered by the Soviet Union in 1961 shortly after the first man in space appeared to move out of the Earth's orbit and into that of an unidentified vessel,only visible to the astronaut,who then covered it up as "Making quick repairs" and fell back to Earth.Following this,the Soviet Union sent several more people to space in hope to find the vessel,but none of them were a success.Following the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991,where the files and articles on SCP-XXXX was later discovered in 1998 by members of the foundation.This discovery triggered the foundation to start building a space station to monitor the anomaly,in case of hostility.The SCPSS "NOVA" and it's housed MTF Tau-9 "Nova Star" were finished in 2011,and launched to space in 2013 due to a massive amount of Chaos Insurgency and other GoI attacks on the foundation in 2012.Shortly after the crew caught sight of SCP-XXXX and established a secure gravity orbit around it.A small team of 5 D-Class personnel were dispatched by the crew of "NOVA" to try and make any kind of contact with SCP-XXXX.A couple of things seemed off about the station,though.Many weapons,bodies,and pieces of equipment were either destroyed,or scattered across the floor.All escape pod spaces were empty,and probably the most unsettling of all,the labels and writing was all in English.The video feed cut off,and then the sound systems.The 5 D-Class never returned,but their bodies were recovered by Beta Squad of Tau-9 and brought back to SCPSS "NOVA" for more study.It was revealed they were killed by toxic gas,most likely part of a decontamination system not meant for humans.A later recovery of one of the bodies discovered by the D-Class expedition,SCP-XXXX-1,was investigated,appearing to be some kind of impenetrable armor.When researchers couldn't find a way to even make a dent in the armor,they studied what they had.In total Tau-9 has discovered: 120+ bodies,500+ unknown weaponry,and 50+ rooms aboard SCP-XXXX.Many rooms have been sealed off,with no way of entry yet discovered,so there has not yet been discovered a control center or cockpit.Only a single broken being aboard the ship,a small automaton about the size of a dog has been discovered alive.How it survived is unknown,and it appears there are many more mysteries surrounding SCP-XXXX after an interview with the automaton [Addendum 1].After later studies,it was discovered that the reason the station had remained hidden for so long was because of a cloaking barrier that makes the station visible to only those within 500 miles of it.So far,the station has posed no threat nor showed hostility to anyone aboard the SCPSS "NOVA",but there are still many questions that need answering.
After several studies over the course of 2 years, 2018-2020,the crew of SCPSS "NOVA" discovered something quite unusual:The main turbine,was not in fact a turbine,but an incredibly powerful anomalous barrier cannon keeping a single anomaly under it's watch.SCP-XXXX,a demonic,half-bodied underground-dwelling evil of Keter class.The cannon appears to be broken,but the crew of the SCPSS "NOVA" and the Tau-9 task force are working their hardest to repair it,with all and every material in their world at their disposal.Their current top priority is to fix the cannon,before SCP-XXXX realizes,if it even still doesn't,that it is no longer under the influence of the barrier cannon.This anomaly is not considered nor designated Thaumiel due to the fact that we can not yet fully understand nor appeal to this SCP. There are currently no plans to re-designate SCP-XXXX to Thaumiel in the near future.

Dr. Ramirez:Excellent.Welcome back.Do you think you have time for a couple of questions?
E-2998:Question Processing…Yes,I do
Dr. Ramirez:Great.What happened to your aboard the [REDACTED]?
E-2998:We were invaded.They came and took out our manual thruster engines,then boarded and massacred us.I am the only survivor.
Dr. Ramirez:I see.Do you recall anything else happening?Any memories from before that?
E-2998:I served aboard the [REDACTED] my whole life.I have no memories of before my service.
Dr. Ramirez:How long was the [REDACTED] in service?
E-2998:30 years.200 more,according to my calculations in it's current state
Dr. Ramirez:So,the ship is 230 years old?
E-2998:I do believe so.
Dr. Ramirez:Up until when do your memories follow?
E-2998:Until the 40th or 50th year of being alone,and performing basic maintenance on the ship
Dr. Ramirez:So you're job was to perform maintenance?
E-2998:Precisely.
