Special Containment Procedures: SCP-3637 is to be kept in a large ceramic cell,10 ft. by 12 ft.,and is to be monitored via security cameras at all times.No tests may be conducted on this SCP. If it begins to start shaking violently,D-Class Personnel are to be dispatched with several heavy aluminum chains,are to have a mask covering their face,and for no reason are to let the SCP see their face at all.Containment cell is to be guarded at all times by members of Mu-13 "Ghostbusters".If SCP manages to escape,the human form in which he takes is to be identified,and tracked down by Mobile Containment Force Alpha-11 "Speed Runners" as fast as possible.Civilian sacrifice may be mandatory.
Description: SCP-3637 is a medium sized phantom which will take the form of any human face it sees.SCP-3637 was found by Alpha-11 "Speed Runners" near [REDACTED], U.S.S.R in 1967 in an abandoned warehouse,with the form of Karlov Masikov,a small-time Russian drug-dealer. Suspicious activity coming from the area had been reported by a Soviet Corporal [REDACTED] on a routine patrol mission.Once it's host is killed,SCP-3637 will look for the nearest human face and take control of their body.It was believed an unidentified GoI had been containing SCP-3637 for a long time,but whoever it was is long gone.This anomaly prefers urban areas where it can hop from host to host without being caught.The reason the anomaly is so dangerous,is that once it leaves the body of it's host,the host dies.However,the SCP is very fragile and can only travel so far from it's previous host.It travels at very slow speeds,but can dive extremely fast.It prefers taking the body of men between the ages of 18-25,reason still unknown.Once it has spotted a host,it will begin to erupt violently before making a run for it.Studies have shown us it is sentient,and prefers to talk to older people,which has proven very effective since it does not usually target them for it's host.On few occasions,it has,but these are when the anomaly is in an agitated state.While it is very fragile,it is not killable. Once severely injured,it will fall unconscious for a period of 20-30 days before becoming active again.All cross-testing must be approved by an 05 council member,and must be done in a ceramic chamber with a non-humanoid SCP.
